Two thoughts: The aerial view concept of Disneyland from 1953 looks like a much more fun park than what exists now. Secondly, I would love the custom studio furniture from 1940 (that actually looks 21st century) for my studio.

On the Haunted Mansion tombstones, the name is “Grandpa Marc.” I would be willing to wager it was a nod to Marc Davis, one of Walt’s “Nine Old Men” who worked on the attraction.

I collect props so this was very interesting. I remember there was a TV show some years ago where they had discovered the carpet bag from Mary Poppins was in the possession of a family that had had it for years. They didn't know it was worth anything until a dealer for those kind of items offered to sell it for them. I can't remember how much they got for it but it was an insane price.
@Hevynly13 жыл бұрын
I remember that! It was won in some type of giveaway in 1964, wasn't it? And had been in the owner's basement for decades.
@outsider2383 жыл бұрын
@@Hevynly1 Yes! That's it! I forget about them getting it in a giveaway. The kids in that family used to play with it not really appreciating what it actually was. Such a crazy story.

The Love was the first movie I got to see in our local theater on my birthday a very very long time ago. Herbie is my favorite movie car of all time. Definitely looks like One of the original Herbie. Love all the things that they have put on display for all the visitors to see. Disney kid for life. Appreciate all that you do and all that you share with us. Thank you for today and for all of Elvis week. You’re a blessing to people around the world. God keep blessing you and Jah

Hi Jordan, what a lovely early photo of Walt Disney at the start, I like the early Disney items. How cool, the original Mary Poppins bag and the alphabet blocks. The Haunted Mansion ghosts and gravestones exhibit was funny and great to see, good old Herbie, some great memories here. Not a bad Exhibition for $17.00. Great vlog Jordan.
