Welcome to the magic! Join me for embarkation day as I set sail on the Disney Wonder from San Diego for a 3-Night Halloween On The High Seas Baja Cruise on Disney Cruise Line.
Come with me as we stop in Ensenada, Mexico. We take the $4 bus into town and wander the downtown area. We then stop by Bar Andaluz - one of the disputed homes to the first margarita. Afterward, we get back onboard the Wonder for Brunch at Palo - always one of my favorite places. And then it is Pirate Night - dinner at Tritons and the Pirate Deck Party and Fireworks on the Wonder!

There was so much confusion in the facebook group before we see sail if Pirate Night and Halloween were the same night, so honestly, I really think that was the issue. People weren't prepared.

When we went to ensenada we went to husong's which is a supposed birthplace of the margarita from my research😂 I wonder which one is actually correct probably neither 🤣🤣

I think this is the first DCL vid I saw that showed going out to the port of Ensenada yourselves! I’m so curious, would love to do that! Was it hard to figure!out? I really just want to go to the main shopping street too. How was it going back? Are they easy to find?

Super easy to navigate - we just took the $4 shuttle that practically pulls right up to the ship. It brings you about a block from the shopping around and they tell you there to go, and from there you can catch the same shuttle right back to the port or walk as we did, but it's obvious where the ship is so it is easy to get back.

Did you have to reserve in advance for the Frozen show? I'm going on this cruise in January, but I don't see the show in the list of activities in the Disney Cruise app.

You dont have to reserve it - doors open about 30 minutes before showtime and seating is first come first serve.

How did you’ll pay cash, card, pesos

We paid cash - the bus driver told us the current rate for pesos to dollars, and we were given our bill in both dollars and pesos.
