Amber Castro , Soft drinks are included at no extra charge with meals, while additional charges apply for bar drinks, beer, wine and bottled water. There is an extra charge for sodas as well as alcoholic beverages at the bars and lounges on board. As stated by disneycruise.disney.go.com.

I have been on a handful of cruises in the past, but never on Disney. I am taking my daughters and granddaughter on our first Disney cruise (and their FIRST cruise) at the end of May 2019 on the Fantasy! We are all so excited! On another note: I was on a Caribbean cruise this past September when Hurricane Florence was active. The cruise line simply reversed the order of our itinerary to keep us safe. We did have some rough seas but only one day that was bad enough to give us some difficulty walking with the ship listing back and forth. I appreciate the captain and the cruise line for making sure we still got to all of our ports and had a wonderful vacation! So glad to see that you and your husband were able to make the best of the day and still have a fabulous time!

Love hearing the chimes at the start of each cruise vlog, brings back memories! We did the same thing at Nassau staying onboard and enjoying the ship. We did run down for 10 minutes and got off the ship, took a photo under the Bahamas sign then got back on the ship but the majority of our day was spent on the Aquaduck :)

Another great Disney Cruise vlog! Our first Disney Cruise was on the Dream and we will be back on it in October, so it's great to be reminded of just how great that ship is! I’ve been on 2 cruises. The first time I did the Nassau historic city tour. So much fun! The second cruise when in Nassau I took a nap while my hubby and son went into port to look around a bit. That nap was so wonderful. The mattresses are luxurious. ☺️

On our first cruise, we went to Nassau and it wasn’t really that great. Just shopping.. and very hot. Definitely prefer to stay on the ship EXCEPT for Castaway Cay! The snorkeling there is wonderful

Love watching your videos, I find your voice so soothing! The last cruise I went on with my SO we never got off the ship the whole time! It's nice having the ship to yourself when everyone is in port. Our next cruise is this July. You will see, they become addicting. Since we have been before we actually skipped pirate night to solve the cases and he was so upset we didn’t get to finish the muppet one. The last time we were in Nassau we did half the time on the ship and the other half off. We walked to Senor Frogs and had drinks and people watched. Afterwards, we walked about 5-10 minutes to Junkanoo Beach and spent about 90 minutes there and then we caught a taxi back to port and shopped a little.

I've been on 15 cruises, but never Disney. It's on my list to start planning. I've been to Bahamas so many times, that I agree, it would be nice to relax on the ship, while everyone is in port. Explore and find new adventures on the boat. A lot of times, cruise ships have fantastic "in port" spa deals that can help save some money if you just want to stay on board.

"Aqua dunk" ha ha ha! I loved your "*Aquaduck" pop-ups for that! We went into the arrival area of Nassau and within 10 minutes, realized we didn't want to go exploring there; just bought a few souvenirs and returned to the ship. My son really wanted to swim in the pool (every single day), so that's what I ended up doing, but at least I was able to ride the Aquaduck a few times.

My husband and I went on a Carnival cruise about 10 years ago. We didn’t stay on the boat at the 2nd port, but we did end up being the only people choosing our particular excursion!! We selected a cooking class which is so up our alley... and to have it be a private cooking class was almost like having a little Pixie Dust spread our way. Wonderful memories!

Days on the ship are hands down my favorite days on a cruise! Also such a good move to go to the restaurants for breakfast or lunch because Cabanas gets to be a little much very quickly lol :)

I have Parkinson’s Disease and we have been unsure if we want to get off the ship for Nassau since it takes me so long to do everything. So I know this isn’t a Disney World video, but I thought I had a few tips I could share. In Epcot, the pyramid-top building is actually a great place to take a break and rest if you are DVC members. Also, Le Celier in the Canadian pavilion is our favorite restaurant in the entirety of Walt Disney. It is a reserve restaurant that serves steaks with truffle butter. Outside of Walt Disney, we recommend a little restaurant called The Boston Fish House. They serve high quality and a lot of food for a decent price. Finally, you can head over to the Contemporary Resort and go to a restaurant called the Top Of The World. You get the best view of the fireworks and they even play the audio for the fireworks. We recommend the Pina Colada there. Hope these can help! Edit: I wanted to add Via Napoli (I believe) in the Italian pavilion. It is an Italian restaurant that serves great pizza!

In a nutshell, everything is [basically] included except alcohol and excursions. There are also a couple of specialty shops on-board (a sweets shop and a coffee shop), and those are extra too. We spent a little money each day on the extras, but we certainly could've just enjoyed what was included and had a fantastic cruise. The extras aren't necessary by any means! I'll try to go more in depth in a future video. Thanks for watching!
