Even though DDV has a lot of issues right now, I truly believe the devs are working on a fix that will stop most of the big bugs once and for all in the next update. So let's not give up on DDV, and give them a chance to make it right❤

I truly hope you’re right, but I will say this: All the crashing people are suddenly experiencing is what PlayStation players have had the entire time. The entire. Time. I must have hit that “Accept and Report” button 300x. Somehow the last update is the first time in years that I’ve been able to play regularly with no crashing. I went from half a dozen crashes a day, for months on end, over the last couple years, to no crashes at all in the last couple months until once the other day, and it hasn’t crashed again since. So idk wtf they changed but it’s crazy that they couldn’t fix it for us without breaking it for others. I PRAY that when they “fix” it again, it doesn’t go back to the way it was.

Thank you for the shout-out and for all you do for this community, MrStarInSky! I appreciate that you often take the time to mention other creators and channels in the DLV space! Concerning the context of this video, you brought up some incredibly good points. I didn't even think about that patch being pushed out to fix the premium shop, but I completely agree with you on that! Sadly, it feels like the premium shop *always* takes priority over everything else... I could *almost* understand that if the game were free-to-play but it's not. So long as the game is a paid game, the devs should *always* prioritize stability and fixes for general gameplay over the premium shop. Being a live service game, I understand why Dreamlight Valley has in-game currency and premium items, and I've always supported that aspect of the game. Unfortunately, this season, it feels like it's getting out of hand and much more aggressive... almost as if they are moving towards the model they were going to use for free-to-play anyway. 😕 Much like you and many in this community, I have a lot of love for Dreamlight Valley. I don't think the devs are to blame. I think it's the "suits" at Gameloft that are pushing this agenda. Ive stopped playing and I was on a decorating kick.. I just log on look for chest go to Scrooge and do Daisy and then log off.. I can’t vote, I tried twice getting my dreamsnapps and then it crashes.. I had everyone in place and got lucky with a test shot but it keeps crashing.. this is unacceptable for a game that expects me to buy their broken items from their broken game.. I get there will be bugs but I expect a fix as soon as possible and I agree that they fixed the shop because it is their revenue. Everyone needs to remember that gameloft is a company that doesn’t care about us.. it’s a company that is providing a service and if this wasn’t a game then more people would be angrier.. they have gotten a pass because people love Disney.

It almost seems like it's a Disney curse. I've had similar issues with this game, but unrelated to the game, for the first time in thirty years of ordering I had issues with ordering from shopDisney. We went to Disney World a year ago and some of their most iconic rides (Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Carousel of Progress, People Mover) all kept breaking down. Disney+ keeps bringing out new shows that sound interesting, but are mediocre at best. It's really sad. We keep hoping and giving all the Disney stuff a try, but it's just tiring that we keep being disappointed. Hopefully gameloft can fix this, so we can enjoy this game again

I agree that the game is falling apart. I’m not a casual player of DDV, I’ve logged 2700 hours since day one of EA. Having said that, I’ve only logged in twice in the past 2 weeks and didn’t even bother with this week’s dreamsnap. The game just isn’t fun anymore with all the visual glitches and major bugs. Their focus on the premium shop over the quality of the gameplay has really made me feel like I’m being taken advantage of. I’ve sunk so much time and money into the game that it’s been tough to walk away but I’m pretty much at that point. No issues with the blue chest thing because I don’t do multiplayer very often. I hope the executives at Gameloft care enough to fix the issues and let the developers design the game how they probably really want to. This is not the devs fault, it’s the higher ups at GL.

My husband and I both have accounts on the same console. His game crashes all the time, which is full of bugs. He has stopped playing his game because sometimes it will crash within a minute of loading the game. My account has very minimal bugs. The only issue I have is disappearing furniture. And that is very minor. It only happens once a week, maybe. It's interesting how we use the same console, and there is a huge difference in how our games are affected.

Honestly, I've lost my mojo with DDV again. It's just a rinse and repeat cycle all the time, and it's just getting boring, i still haven't completed the DLC that i got back in January. The star paths are also unnecessarily long and monotonous, especially when it comes to things that hardly spawn or have lower chances of spawning. The amount of bugs, glitches, and crashes i get on PS5 is also ridiculous

It's super ironic if the reason they pushed the patch through so fast was because of the premium shop not showing up/they were losing money, because I've now sworn not to spend any more money on the game until everything broken is fixed. 🤔

For me it's freaking annoying to get to villagers if they are in their houses: u go in their house they suddenly not in, you go out, they are back inside, so keep go in and out 10+ times till I catch the villager

I have stopped playing DDLV. It is just too frustrating. It shouldn't take 3 days of tears and lots of bad words to get a Dreamsnap done. But these glitches have just made it so annoying. When a game brings you to tears it is time to stop playing it. Games are supposed to be fun. I spend all my time in Palia. I suffer from chronic pain and can't take pain meds of any kind so I depend on these games to keep my mind off my pain.

Other than the disappearing items for snaps, I'm not having literally any crashes or glitches. I play on Switch too. Looks like I'm in the small percentile, but wanted to share in case it helps with gathering data from the comments. My heart truly goes out to everyone who is though!! Hoping for a fix soon.

I think gameloft needs to realize that people cant spend money on their game if the thing wont stay open long enought for people to open the shop. If the game crashes every 5 minutes, you dont have time to buy stuff. Plus with the amount of people leaving/dropping the game due to bugs, i feel like that will be a bigger hit to their wallet then the shop glitch lol

Why isn't anyone talking about this?!?!- I'm refering to the absolutly rediculus abomination that is the complete chaose of how furniture items are categoriced in your inventory. We have all theese categories like - "decour" utilitys" windows" and all the rest. But they don't use them, nothing makes sence to where your new furniture pice ends up. You'd think the new fragment stain glass window I just crafted would end up in the "window" category, buy NO. You'd think it would end up in the "wall" category then. But NO. Everything is beeing dumped in eighter the decour pile or the misc pile. It is lazy, it is complete chaose. But it gets worse..some pices don't even have a category, you cant find it, like with the gray stone pathway tile , it has no caregory so you will have to scroll through "ALL" to find it, but this one is not the worst because at least you can tag it by colour and find it faster that way. Most of the new items you can't use this search feature on, because they haven't been taged with a colour even!! And dont get me started on the absolute nonsense that is how things ARE sorted(the few things that are) like all the collumes we have, or all the ckookers, or all the electrics, you'de think at least they would be sorted together but they are all scattered completly randome! Why even bother having categorys at this point? why even having a tag search option? Also, the scare volcanic stove isn't taged as lion king, and some of the oswald black and white stuff isn't taged as black or white so good luck finding those. To me this is the most frustrating issue because it is just down to lazynes and beeing absolutley unbothered to keep things proparly organiced and sorted in the sorting system THEY made. And it is just utter clutter that could be avoided if they just was bothered enough to put all the windows in the window box and all the electrics in the electrical box and so on..jeeez louizze. Is I the only one going crazy ower this?

I play on PlayStation. And the only bug I've experienced is the disappearing item glitch. Like you said annoying, but manageable. I've been lucky so far, but I've heard of people having many more issues. I really hope they fix all these issues, especially because we spend so much money on this game

I am a switch player. I am sorry in advance for the long comment, but for those that do not play switch, I want to share what my experience has been like. And for those that do play switch, feel free to add your own experience. I actually played during the first month of early release. I completely quit DDV after about a week because the game was basically unplayable, it crashed SO OFTEN. I just recently (2 months ago) reset my game and started playing again since the game was out of early access. Hoping that the game would be playable. Now I'm LUCKY if my game ONLY crashes once every 30-60 minutes (And I have a 1tb storage on my switch to help avoid these issues). And although crashes do not happen every time I do these things, I have had my game crash during the following actions: Saving the game Loading the game Trying to invite people in for multiplayer Planting Crops Watering Crops Harvesting Crops Mining Digging Fishing (and sometimes when fishing the little white indicator line doesn't show up, so you just have to hope your circle turns green) Time bending and using the Time bending Spheres Entering a building Exiting a Building Buying from shops/stalls Talking to a Villager Accepting/turning in quests to villagers Collecting Dreamlight from Dreamlight duties Opening the moonstone chests Accessing a storage chest Voting on Dreamsnaps Traveling to another area/realm Traveling to Eternity Isle When a harvest explosion happens Picking up stuff off the ground Feeding critters With this many eggshells to avoid, it's no wonder it crashes so often. No matter what dress my character wears, it always clips through when my character bends over (like planting/harvesting) I also don't get the walking speed bonus when my energy bar is gold, it says that I do, but my character still walks slower than a snail. A HUGE amount of crashing happens when you exit furniture mode, and the game is attempting to load back. I have gotten to the point where I only place a few items at a time while making a Dreamsnap, and I exit furniture mode every couple minutes, so that I don't lose all my progress. I have 3 extra picnic blankets and 3 extra trash cans for EVE's quest, as well as 2 extra of the crystals for Oswalt that I literally CAN'T do anything with. They are in a chest in my house, I can't sell or gift them. And I am afraid to put them on the ground. I made that mistake with the 2 extra books that you get during Olaf's quest. They are just on the floor in my plaza I cannot pick them back up, and I can only move them via furniture mode. It doesn't give me the option to remove. I have contacted Gameloft, and "they are aware of the issue, and will let me know when they find a solution" I am ONCE AGAIN very seriously considering quitting the game because it is nearly unplayable. AND they want more money. I bought the founders day pack, I bought the DLC, I even bought the Cozy edition! The game is so broken, but all they care about is making more money from the premium shop. Gameloft doesn't care about this absolutely wonderful community. They do just BARELY enough to make it seem like they care. But I feel more and more each day, that all they care about is the money. This game is PAID now! EITHER have the game be free with micro-transactions OR have the game cost money. But they have BOTH, and this is a premium price game. It doesn't even work! They can't fix the problems and issues that we all are STRUGGLING to deal with, But at least there are new premium items in the store every week...

I think with this game it's either you have a really good experience or a really bad one. For me, it's been good. I play on the Switch as well and I have no crashes after the update and I also barely had crashes before that. I think the second update after release was when I saw the most crashes to my game so I can understand people's frustrations for sure since I experienced it for a short while a long time ago.

I have Switch as well and I find these things have prevented me from the myriad of crash scenarios. I have no rides or inter-actables turned on(they're all off or removed) I also have no companion houses placed, like at all. Any time I went near an area with animals I crashed. Maybe just superstitious but I try and keep myself set to daytime lights (sometimes turning on the lights & flowers is too much). If you have pet houses or toys out maybe that's your issue as well. I still crash! Not saying I don't! But I crash significantly less than it sounds like you do tho at any time any of those things have been happening when I crash it's not every time.

I’ve started playing Palia more. I’ve gotten burnt out on DDV and it feels like it’s turning more into their mobile Disney parks games where they care more about making money instead of adding free content. I’ll keep playing but it definitely isn’t my main game like it was. Hopefully the rest of the year gets better and I am looking forward to the next update

1st of all, I love your cozy background. I do agree with you the game seems to be falling apart. I play on Steam and for the last two or three nights the game has been almost unplayable, from disappearing items, to bumping into invisible walls, to characters glitching off the map, to the game freezing. I have started reaching for games I haven’t played since DLV came out. I absolutely love this game and I hope they get it together.

I’m happy I got my hours out of the base game, it was worth the £25 for sure as a new player. But there’s just no incentive to keep logging on. There’s no gameplay, lots of bugs and all the energy seems to be in premium items (which most of us don’t earn enough MS to access). Im enjoying playing other games more, it’s a shame because they really could’ve focused on keeping players playing daily.

I didn't finish the cupcake quests and stopped playing for a bit because it was so bugged. I would talk to someone to start the cupcake quest and then complete it and not get credit or the buttons. I gave up so didn't get all popcorn buckets.

In my rift in time expansion (RiT) game, none of my lights come on at night, but in my other basic account they do. Water pump doesn't work in RiT but on basic it does. Items DISAPPEARED out of my furniture. Items which I had bought just disappeared. Allot of them. This was the worst update ever. I'm not gonna play anymore till they fix the bugs.

It makes me feel a little better hearing others are having the same issues on switch I am. At least I know it's not my console. I think they need to allow all current player one free code to get dreamlight valley for free on an additional format, i.e. Xbox, ps4, ps5, pc. That way people can try another version that would be a fair option.

fully agree. I suggested to Gameloft customer service that they provide the game for free to compensate for the bugs; the response was negative. They ask us to wait without any compensation...they are dreaming I think. like many I am leaving the game. impossible to play since the 1st day of Update 10 on Xbox series S. I resisted doing the way of the stars, it was painful and stressful. the game crashes every 2 or 3 minutes

And also just the lack of consistency in the PS offerings - releasing the NBC tool set without an hourglass skin doesn't give me confidence that they will ever go back and make the past tools sets fair, which makes me less likely to buy ANY tool set in case they release more tools in future DLC.

I play on the switch, and I've had to deal with all the issues except the blue chest. Sometimes, it takes hours to get a dreamsnap done without something going wrong. I'm playing in PS5, and I had to delete the whole game twice. It would kick me out, the item desapering, not able to accept quests.. I just stopped playing all together as it is so buggy! Every time I get on the game, it is more buggy than previously. 😡

As the saying goes it only takes one person to spoil it for everyone else, they could easily stop people dropping the chests by not making them dropable, premium shop prices are way to high so if people can get stuff without paying for it they will and tbh I don't blame them but I would never risk my game save for it.

As someone who works with developers daily in my day to day job, I am assuming since it is such a big issue they’re having trouble patching it without breaking anything else, I would also expect this to be the highest priority which probably means the update will be delayed, when I saw the year roadmap it reminded me a lot of at work where our development team will say they’ll have an update once a month and it always ends up being every 2-3 months. Their job is insane and I cannot imagine the stress they’re under to fix this, so give them grace I know the game isn’t free but they’re probably trying to make sure this patch is perfect for the users

My husband is a deleloper in a very different sector to gaming but still the amount of times that they do a fix and then find out after months of testing that it broke something unintentionally is a lot! And he only has a minimal amount of different hardware platforms to test on with this game there are soooo meany variations trying to test them all would be impossible. Think that made sense 😂

The developers have listened to us the entire time so far so if nothing has been done about it, that can only mean they don't currently have a solution and are trying to fix it.

The furniture disappearing is very frustrating, especially building live. I play on PC and Switch. The Switch was doing great for a while, even with my high item limit. Since the update, it crashes so much that I can't play on the Switch.

I play on Playstation and PC and both have been relatively stable for me, minus the disappearing items issue which as you said, has made Dreamsnaps a nightmare! But I do worry for the future of the game. When the game was in early access, they were handing out moonstones like candy to make up for the bugs, and making an effort to push out hotfixes pretty quickly. But now that it's supposedly a full game, and it's worse than ever, they give us 500 moonstones as compensation (which alone buys absolutely nothing in the premium shop). And it also feels like they're not prioritizing fixing a completely broken game 😥 That being said, I love this game so much and I won't stop playing, but it makes me worry for the future of the game that they're treating this so nonchalantly

They probably have multiple teams to deal with everything. They probably do have a whole team focused on premium shop items and the next dlc but that doesn't mean there's not other teams working on bugs and the free updates.

This is a weird thought but I'm going to share it anyway. You know how in crime shows there's a police team handling something and then the big bad higher-ups from the CIA are sent in and take over everything, prioritize being the boss over everything else and nearly ruin everything. I feel like that could've happened with DDV. Some marketing corporate takeover started bossing around the devs and make them prioritize only pushing content to maximize profit, disregard literally every else no matter what state the game is in. Whatever the reason, I'm willing to push through because I have hope that this is temporary and they'll course correct on making a better experience. Thanks for staying upbeat yet truthful despite this valley of problems we're currently in. You help me remember better days are ahead!

I play on Switch, and have played since the beginning. I've had crashes, and glitches, but nothing compared to other Switch players. My question is why are certain players on the same consoles having not that many problems, yet others can't even play for 5 minutes, which is terrible. It makes no sense. Does anyone understand why some can play, while others have so many issues? I'm just waiting for it to happen to me, and feel really bad for everyone experiencing all the crashing. Gameloft needs to fix everything now, and not wait until the next update.

Thanks for covering this topic. I am Xbox series s and the crashes are constant. I am still playing the bare minimum each day but the crashes plus lack of content is stopping me from playing more. I stopped decorating due to dreamsnaps too as I was constantly having to destroy builds but running around a non decorated valley isnt enjoyable either and without decorating there isn't much else to do in the game. After working on the fixes I really hope they work on valley presets otherwise I could see myself getting over playing at some point

To be honest I almost didn’t buy dreamlight valley when it first came out and actually waited awhile because I saw who the developer was. I’ve played gameloft games for years and know their track record. Their mobile games were a nightmare with micro transactions. You could barely do anything without having to pay. I wasn’t surprised when it turned into all about the money again with this game.

The hacked blue chests is old news now and does not hurt the game if you happen to pick one up. 10 players I personally know have obtained these chests and report no issues at all. Game Loft also will not ban anyone for picking these up by mistake. Additional info can be found on their site.

I’m on Xbox and I’ve only had the disappearing items issue until last night. My game crashed several times and it was freezing but the music was still playing and characters still walking around. I think there’s a theory that, that means the update is really close so hopefully that’s true because we need this update DESPERATELY 😅

I’m hoping they take the leeway “summer” gives them for the Tiana update to get back on track. It’s really been feeling like they’re behind on the updates this whole year. I’m guessing the devs are feeling overworked and they just need more time. I’m hopeful they’re fix the most major bugs with Mulan, but what I really want is for them to take extra time somewhere to not rush and not be overworked.

Thanks for this video… I play on PS5, don’t have crash issues (fingers crossed) but I have the disappearing items glitch and it’s annoying for sure but not game breaking for me. But that blue chest thing is scary and now I’m happy I don’t use multiplayer! I would never risk my game by breaking rules and TOS for a game, it’s just unfair and potentially danger not only for me but also for the game itself!

I feel like they didn't fix the premium shop appearing empty only due to wanting profits. I think a lot of people would have been upset if they had missed out on the fireworks for example and that really is a game changer imo. About the bug, I'm probably the only one who experienced less crashes on switch after the patch 😂 I was playing for a few hours grinding the star path on my second account and it crashed only a handful of times. I don't have any more crashes on pc which is good. About the blue chest, I'm not surprised people are tempted to get house skins for free but I don't think it's morally right to do so. Gameloft right now is experiencing hits with the DLC not meeting people's expectations and I think for that reason they needed expand their profits somehow. It is what it is, I still enjoy dreamsnaps so I want to earn my premium shop items

And if people want bugs fixed, they need a way to pay their staff. The premium shop is essential for the life line of this game as much as that stinks.

I play on Switch, and it not THAT bad, the game freezes sometimes and the event was painfull sometimes when I couldn’t start the quests, but luckily it wasn’t that much worse

I feel bad for everyone with crashes. I play on the Switch and after the update, my game doesn't crash at all. Also, on the topic of those hacked chests. I really hope this doesn't affect their sales because there are people like me who absolutely love this game and it would suck for them to discontinue it just because a few people (the ones who made the chests) had to ruin it for everyone 😔

For what we paid for a full released game, that spent over a year in Beta, there should NOT be this many bugs and issues. Mine is very glitched. I still love the game, but unless there is new content, I don’t play like I would if the game was issue-free. It’s a problem and Disney is banking on them being Disney and being able to hold players even with all the bugs. I don’t know how long that’s going to fly tbh.

10 crashes in 4 hours and counting. It's unplayable for me and I'm on PC. It's beyond ridiculous. I have no more patience for it. The hotfix honestly didn't do anything to fix the crashes for me. It only made it worse. Once the crashes are fully fixed, I'll finally jump back into it.

Luckily i havent had too many issues outside of the disappearing items while doing dreamsnaps but i can totally understand how people are wanting to quit because Gameloft aren't even addressing the issue properly and i don't understand why it's taking so long, most of these should have been fixed immediately over waiting for the next big update.

I’ve been playing since launch week and I’ve never had the game crash on me. This past Tuesday night I was desperately trying to finish my dreamsnap submission and right when I finished the decorating and tried to get out of furniture mode to take the pic, it crashes. None of it saved. I had to literally start from scratch and redo it. It came out just as good as the first time so I’m really hoping it gets votes this week bc it was a double pain to make! 😂 Edit: I should mention I play on PC and I have no intention of stopping.

I play on switch and I've been lucky as far as the bugs go. For me it's mostly that either the A button or + button randomly quit responding(which is fixed by restarting) or as I am shutting the game down it crashes. I don't have much problems with game play. But I have been seeing all the posts from other people where they can barely play and it's ridiculous that gameloft haven't addressed any of it. It's also ridiculous they did a quick patch on the premium shop(i had that issue myself but restarting my game made the page visible again) and yet have fixed none of the major issues happening. As to the blue chests i would say the main reason people are doing it is because of how stupid the premium shop prices are. If you look at it in terms of if you have to get all moonstones with real money you'd see how crazy it is. Some single items are like $20 in real money! Particularly with the current state of the economy people can barely afford groceries let alone spending real money on fake game stuff. And yes we earn moonstones in game but it's nowhere near enough to buy stuff from the premium shop. We get 50 a day from chests and a random amount from dreamsnaps which no one has any idea how that works in the first place so no real way to even try to optimize what we get there. i will not buy moonstones with real money. I have spent enough on this game between the base game(i got the ultimate founders edition which was $70) and the expansion which was another $30. Gameloft needs to reduce the prices in the premium shop period. People might not resort to this kind of stuff if they'd stop being so greedy.

Im on the switch and my recent submission is missing half of the items I placed inside. So of course I know I’ll prolly only get the bare minimum. But I just they would fix the disappearing items issue, for the dreamsnaps but also for just decorating in general. I don’t want to quit the game. I would rather have a glitch/bug-free playable game and a an update 6 months late then another update in 2-3 weeks and a “hot fix” update that may (or may not) address the issues that we are having…because here lately yes we have been getting a lot of updates but with each update there are new bugs/glitches and old bugs/glitches that came back much more often. Obvy, this is just my humble opinion but I think that maybe those that are brand new game or thinking about getting the game are less likely to, or get it and experience all these bugs and glitches and think that that is normal for gameplay-because it’s not!! Well it used to not be!!!! :/

I’ll play after it’s fixed. So tired of fighting Dreamsnaps and decorating. I’m not even doing one this week. Stuff disappearing constantly. The lag some nights is so bad I can’t play. Quests. I have to log out and log back in in order to be able to do the quest. I deleted everything in my valley to redo it and with the invisible issue or it freezes and it will hiccup and all the stuff I just put down is gone. I feel dreamsnaps is beginning to be the only important thing. More in the premium shop to do dreamsnaps and not a whole lot of questing. I want to know about skull rock. What about our evil self. Like you and I am sure many others, I am extremely fortunate to play it on pc here. I don't use any other devices. The only bug I have experienced, is the items disappearing when I am in camera mode for dreamsnaps. whislt frustrating, it is not major or stopping me from enjoying the game. I actually do still love this game and can't see me quitting anytime soon. I play solo, have never used multiplayer, don't intend to. I would honesatly rather they delay the update, even for a week or so, just to ensure that everything is fixed before release. Because, if they don't, and we endure more bugs and glitches with this new update, it's only going to cause more havoc for everyone, and they are going to see more players leaving. Surely the longevity of the game is more important to them, than just making money off the players. I'm probably wrong, but it would make sense that they care more about their game sustaining time. On PS5 the camera controls freeze. Full reboot every few minutes is the only way to finish a dreamsnap. It’s always been like this. I don’t have hope anymore of it being fixed. I only wonder what bugs will be added on top of it. 💔

They can trace back to see where these blue chest originally came from. I'm sure they have logs of purchases, in game transactions, and other things they keep track of, so I wouldn't say they would never ban, they just have to be careful in who they ban. However with all the bugs in the game and the slowness of how they address them, they don't have the manpower to investigate the blue chest issue. They are too wrapped up in fixing what is broken that they can't keep up. I feel they are so understaffed and that is why their response to issues takes forever and a day. They don't have the manpower to test for the littlest bugs before they release them into the game. That is my guess. They need to take some $$$ and invest into a more competent team for DDV.

For anyone on Playstation (especially PS4, which is what I play on), the crashing issue for me is nearly identical to the one I had in Oct 2022 during the Scar update. Basically, don't use your menu while outside. Don't fast travel, don't look at starpath duties or the quest log, don't pick up memory orbs. Inside, totally fine. Decorating outside, totally fine. Just not anything to do with the menu.

Game crashed 3 times in a half hour last night. Also items in scrooges store don't have enough variety. Daily cupcake making and delivering was sooo boring. Now can't get credit for putting flowers around Annas castle to complete quest. Giving up on dream snaps

I am focusing on decorating right now on EI and renovating some areas of my regular valley while we wait for the fixes and the update. I'm hopeful that the game will get more exciting over the summer and that the issues will be fixed.

Every time they update it has bugs so I don’t think it will ever change. They are quick to take your money but we get stuck with playing it with the way they make it you never get your money’s worth.. I am not spending any more money on it.

The devs don’t really care about fixing bugs. They only rush to fix things that affect their income with premium shop. Best believe they will patch the blue chests that have all the premium items in it for free asap. And most likely ban the people that did open them unfortunately. Pair that with mediocre Star Paths & over $100 of new premium items coming every single week, this game is getting worse and worse. The devs ARE lazy. The devs ARE greedy. It’s ruining the experience of this game for me. Which is a shame because I love this game.

And there’s no real way for them to track who is truly innocent unfortunately. So it’s either ban everyone that got a blue chest, or continue to lose money (if they can’t fix it) and I don’t see them going the route of losing money constantly.

Supposedly someone already contacted Gameloft about receiving a blue chest and they said not to worry, that they wouldn't be penalized for it. So they're aware of the issue and if they go after anyone, it'll be the people who created the chests if possible. I do wonder if their lack of swift response on it is because they'll easily be able to remove all those hacked items from the game later.

i only just finished the starpath ... it was a terrible grinding frustrating experience ... I am on switch - gettin game shutdown every 15-30 minutes, issues with the cloudsave not connecting, progress done i have to do again when game crash sometimes, dissapearing stuff (even when not in camera mode, enough to just place down stuff in furniture mode, or when getting too close to an object..), bugged quests - quests not completing or restarting all over - or not able to do at all. Some villagers cant be assigned to job with me - not even an option to click on. Villagers nowhere to be found sometimes - in valley or dlc valleys. And ofcourse - Snaps - not been able to do 'real' snaps other than just dressing up and snapping a random shot, cus its so hard decorating when stuff dissapears or u get visual glitches, my whole screen turned black several times - or i got big flat butterflies all over the screen ... yeah. Game is ruined for me. I really really hope next update brings some good changes but not hopeful.

For me: I have seen just a little bit of the furniture disappearing , but the camera does gets overlapped from other things like trees and other things like that. But mostly I do try to see my own character , but sometimes I won’t see her just cuz of the overlapping. But sometimes it does gets annoying to always to move the camera , so I can always see my own character. But today is the first day of hearing others are quitting this awesome game. I honestly think the new premium shop is the cause of the crashes. I am in switch and when the new format was rolled out it wouldn’t load right away and even now it takes a while and is clunky, I think it might be too much data usage. If it is that I hope the fix it, or just display in a simpler manner.

Honestly the blue chest thing is a bit 😅 It's one thing to do it for yourself (which im still thinking is wrong), but to give it to someone else who don't know what's inside of it, is wrong on so many levels.. imagine getting a chest from someone and you get banned for it... because Gameloft tracked who got the chests and who made them.. i would personally be pissed.. ( even if it was done as a kind gesture) Also, it's not like the items won't come back, so I don't know why people feel the need to do something like this.. for me, it ruins the fun of getting a new item, you saved up for, but this is my opinion on it.. Also, I can already see a new bug coming.. while they try to remove the premium shop items from the accounts, there cheated to get them, then they will accidentally remove it from some people who bought the items Fair and Square.. I hope it won't happen, but it wouldn't be something that surprised me if it happened ...!! About the Bugs, honestly, they should have focused on the players instead.. not only do they get fewer people playing the game, but they will also have fewer people buying stuff in the premium shop, which is one of the features they get money from.. i really hope they will fix these bugs soon because it must be so annoying not being able to play a game you have bought with real money, only to have it crash every time you try to play it..

I play on Apple Mac on switch and the Apple Arcade version. Yes sounds crazy lol but my point is I don’t have any issues despite playing for long periods of time. Occasionally I will crash but the only problem with that has been I need to wait for the game to restart. I can’t understand where the many issues are coming from. Maybe it’s an internet connection issue more than a game issue. I did have a bit of a hiccup with the Fairy Godmother where I had to wait for a fix to be able to photograph the item inside remy’s. But all other issues which cropped up were fixed fairly quickly by gameloft. Now I don’t do a lot of multiplayer so I have never seen on of these corrupt blue chests but overall I feel gameloft have responded fairly quickly to players issues. Guess for those who are experiencing lots of issues, halting the game and doing other things for a while may well be the best way round but it is sad that new players are being swamped by complaints at the moment. Let’s hang in there and give gameloft a chance to keep fixing and expanding the game.

I only share my valley with my daughter, so I don't have to worry about the blue chest issue. As for the disappearing issue, I had that once with a furniture item and once with food, so not too bad. I also play on a PC, so that might be why. I am just waiting for Mulan now and the next Star path. Currently playing Disney still, just doing minor things in my valley while waiting. I'm taking a break from the game. Especially after the last star path and the dreamlight fest on top of that. I felt like it was too repetitive and stressful. I hope with the next star path they kinda do different tasks and not the same " do dreamlight task" or feed the customers in Remy restaurant. And definitely do not do the shiny gems or certain fish. When I tell you those tasks are annoying.
