I think people are under-estimating how many Dreamsnap submissions there are to vote on, the last challenge I ranked 6813 and got 4k moonstones (PC/Xbox/Switch). That's the top5%, that's over 120k submissions. Unless you are voting non-stop for hours everyday, you'll only see a tiny fraction of the submissions (and judging by the amount of entries that seem low effort, a lot of people are voting only 10 times and then they are done). Its the reason a lot of people on Reddit and Discord don't see some of the great submissions on those platforms and also why every week voting is very erratic, I can't imagine how they are developing this algorithm, but it's probably the reason they haven't released any details, because they have not got it to the point where all the submissions can be viewed and voted on a fair amount

I mean Dreamsnap is just like taking a picture or making a scene in blender, it like good form one angle that's all that matters but as soon you see it form a different angle or looks weird.

I agree about doing low effort for Dreamsnaps, every time I actually put a lotta work into it I end up with 1200 moonstones if I am lucky, I throw something together with minimal effort in 10 minutes and I get 4000-6500 so I decided trying is for chumps lol

I agree completely i tried so hard my first couple dreamsnaps i got 600 then 1200. I did 1 in 5 mins i dont even remember what i posted...and i got 4000 moonstones

They DESPERARELY need to fix the 'Cannot submit photo as it contains Touch of Magic Items' problem as this is killing Dreamsnaps! I spent SOOO long today trying to get it to work. I was not wearing anything Custom and the ONLY Custom Furniture Items I own are Rugs and they were nowhere near the Photo I was taking! It took WAYY linger than it should have and was NOT fun!

If the Dreamsnap submissions presented for voting, I cancel out of voting and reload till I get one that meets the criteria. I never voted for a critter theme submission if no critter was visible.

This might be way I’m falling dreamsnap. I decorate my valley not for that dreamsnap(unless I have to add something) so maybe it’s bc I’m not doing it from a photography side? 😂

Critters were not required. Just the furniture was required.

They weren't required, but the theme was Critter love. Makes sense that people would be expecting critters.

Therein lies the problem with dreamsnaps. The filters they have for items make no sense. And the filter should be the core mechanic of the dreamsnap theme. Like the filters for Dapper Dreamsnaps made NO sense to what the theme was actually supposed to be. Same with the Fall one.

Just a bit of a warning for everyone. Reddit is not the nice place to be, like KZbinrs make it seem, with videos like this. There are bad people lurking on there. Be careful where and what you post, if you are gonna post. The best advice though I can give anyone is not use it at all. Cause even if you post on a place and something you think is fine, you may just catch the eye of terrible people that will harass you. Again, just a warning to say be careful. People may notice I have said this before. But I am saying it on every reddit review of every KZbinr I watch. Until these reddit reviews stop or slow down. It's a form of protest and awareness. Because I was fooled by KZbinrs (i know it's not their fault) thinking reddit as a good site. I shared some of my art and now I'm being cyber bullied and harassed. I have given other suggestions. Like doing more discord reviews in place of reddit. But no one that can make a difference is listening so far.

​@@mrStarInSkyfair response. For your response I will no longer put a automatic thumbs down. And I'll starting watching these videos again. But I imagine there are people who will go on there and post to be apart of different youtuber's videos. Thinking "I want their opinion on my posts" or to just get a bit of attention. So for those people, I will still keep posting warnings. I'm not doing this for a bad reason. I'm just trying to prevent people from going though what I am going through now. It's not an enjoyable experience.
