I had a summer job at Disney in 1973. I’ve been taking my family back to the parks many times over the years ( now with grand-kids ). I’m very disappointed that the traditional family values that were prominent in the early years have been replaced with evil deception that now exists. For the last few years, Disney has been injecting their propaganda in everything that they have been selling, so there's no need to pre-screen anything anymore coming from them. If people are really not ok with what this company is selling to their general public through their products, then their customers should just vote with their wallets and not purchase anything coming from this company at all and other woke companies. To me, is hypocritical that people keep complaining about the agenda being sold to them through films and other media, while still keeping the subscriptions from these companies active, or those that are still taking their family members/friends to watch the next Captain Stark Revengers or War Stars films, just because is the new shinny thing. Yes ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, the Magic is gone....I was a Disney devotee and visited from out of state 2 to 4 weeks a year since 1992, I owned a DVC membership, I bought annual passes for the whole family, last year I sold my DVC membership, cancelled all my passes and will never set foot on Disney property ever again. I also have stopped watching ESPN and ABC too. I applaud these Disney employees for speaking out, they were the reason for my belief in the Magic and they have been stifled and censored.

I remember bringing my kids to Disneyworld in the ‘80’s because it was a wholesome environment and they respected the innocence of children and the concept of family. There is a sign over the entrance that, to paraphrase, says to leave your troubles of the outside world behind when you enter the park. This should also be applicable to their media. The last thing I ever expected from Disney was to endorse giving sexual advice to young children. Walt would be very disappointed at what the philosophy of Disney has become today.

My family and I used to go to Disney World nearly every year growing up and it was great. It was very much a magical place and I will always have those fond memories. HOWEVER, those days are long gone. The sheer cost alone is absolutely absurd, not even bringing anything political into the mix. Once you factor in the other madness, there is no way I will be taking my 3 young kids there, like ever. There are literally thousands of other places I’d rather go now for a fraction of the cost and I guarantee you we’d have a better time. The closest I’ll get to Disney now is my couch, as we occasionally watch a movie from back when they were truly about family values and entertainment. The Hatch Amendment forbids employees from taking their politics into the work place. No political t-shirts, campaigning, passing out leaflets or other such actions. Yet, Disney and some of these other companies are doing just that to their employees and customers. The price gouging at Disney is extreme. They charge you over $20 to park your car and I believe it is now about $150 to enter the park. Years ago when I worked at Disney my manager told me that the ice cream bars cost Disney 15 cents each and they were selling them for $2.50. I think they are probably $5.00 by now. Shirts cost Disney $3.00 and sold for $70 in their shops. I have been told recently that those shirts now sell for $150. I do not understand parents bringing kids to wait in lines for 1 or 2 hours in sweltering heat to go on a 3 to 5 minute rides. Disney is only about the money. But it sure keeps the lower income citizens out of their parks. I hope Disney goes bankrupt.

It’s so heartbreaking. The entire concept for this park was a safe place for families to come and enjoy time together. It was never meant to be a park so expensive that only the truly wealthy could afford a trip. There used to be value in money spent at disney. They went above and beyond. We were talking hours and I said I could work any day except Sunday because I’m had commitments at my church and couldn’t miss it. I have been going to Disney since I was 2 years old, an Annual Passholder, and go 1-2 times a month (I do not live in Florida). I stay at the resorts, but I go to escape politics, and the reality of the world to enjoy some time off and not have to worry about things. Going to a Disney park costs a fortune and once you get there you are treated like animals. Every attraction has lines (queues) that you think will never end. It's actually amazing that people put up with it. I think most people just do it to keep their kids quiet. Disney are masters at influencing kids to want their products.
