The last time I was at a Disney Park was in 2005 in Disneyland (my only trip there), but many times in the 80's and 90's at WDW (I actually worked there in the 90's). Anyway, we are thinking of going this year, but I don't think we'll get the passes first of all I can't afford it. Next of all, I don't want to support something I don't agree with, and most of the things I want to see and do are probably not the most popular (except Soaring and Peter Pan's Flight). I do like that they put a limit on it. Some people have made comments that it should be unlimited like some other parks. I think this is where Disney got it right. If people have more money and can be unlimited, the rest of us will be paying for a ticket to get in but have even longer lines. I think it is so unfair. It is another separation of the super rich and the rest of us.

Agree Annette, not a fan of paying more money to get an edge or benefit over other people. I think it sends the wrong message.

So I'm a local AP. What if I don't want to buy the multipass till the morning of the day I'm going to the park, sometimes I can't go on the exact day that I had planned on going and I used to buy the genie in the morning. So if I wait until the morning of the day I'm going to buy this, will all the good rides be gone already from other people? I actually liked the genie once I learned how to use it. I like the fact that everybody had to buy it at the same time so we all had a fair chance of getting rides. I have some physical problems where I can't stand in line for long so I did use the genie and I'm not sure how this new one is going to work for me if I have to wait till the last minute to buy it. Any thoughts on that? Thanks for the great video.

Hi Janeen, yes unfortunately that is definitely possible! Most likely what you will encounter is most if not all the rides are still available but will be later ride times. Of course this is not ideal because then you will end up getting less use from the pass. Depending on how many people are buying them some may even be completely gone. It’s really going to depend on how many people are going to buy these passes. 😥

Call it what you like but unlike free fastpass this is paying to push in and slow down others' day. Under the free version it was a level playing field where everyone could play, now it's just for those that can afford it.

I wish they just do it just like Knotts and Universal Studios and let you pay for unlimited access to all rides. I feel like it is a waste of time. N i certainly don't understand all this. #DisneyDiva ❤

Another nickel and dime technique in my opinion. Disney isn't worth my time or money. Universal on the other hand, has all my money.

Yeah not a fan of all the nickel and dime stuff! Good for people that want to spend it for the advantage but we don’t typically spend our money in that way - we would rather spend it in different way!

Far as the fast past system yes and far as ride no. But that is my opinion. But they need a better fast past system.

To be fair, I'm not totally against paid fast pass. But they're making it now that your ticket price is just a cover charge and if you want a chance of riding much of anything, you have to pony up. I don't believe the average American family is up for paying $250-300 dollars a day per person to have a good day. Price that out over a week and then add food and snacks and souvenirs and the next thing you know it costs a family of 4 25k plus airfare for a mediocre experience. It's not worth what they're charging.
