It makes me so unbelievably happy that Dodie Smith not only liked the movie but thought that it improved on her source material. Like Bill Pete did that - he impressed a writer enough to garner such high praise for himself and Disney and that's amazing! Also 101 Dalmatians is one of my favorite movies because, like you said, puppies.

Did you know that in 101 Dalmatians that the tv show Jasper and Horace were watching called What's My Crime was based off a tv show called What's My Line. Which Walt Disney was on What's My Line in 1956.

This made me so happy, every time I was worried there would be bad news it ended happy! Like when you said: "his last animated project..." I was like: oh that's sad. "Before he moved on to imagineering" "OH THAT'S GREAT!" literally I'm almost crying with joy over how cheerful this video was I feel so silly

When I was a wee lil child 101 Dalmatians was my FAVORITE movie. My room was covered with 101 Dalmatians decals and wall paper and my bed had the 101 Dalmatians bed set. I was obsessed. My dad ended up getting me a Dalmatian and I called her lucky (I couldn't say Perdita) and later we got a boy Dalmatian and named him Pongo 😂. Good times....
