Disney's biggest problem is that they're now losing the generational fans. Growing up, my parents loved Disney and taught me to love Disney too. Fast-forward. When Disney went woke, I stopped taking my kids to every Disney/Marvel/Star Wars movie because I didn't trust them not to include something objectionable for young kids. Now, neither of my kids give a damn about Disney, nor will they teach their children in the future to love Disney.

Case in point: I’ve heard and read that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is actually pretty good. I saw the trailer and it looks like a decent show, but it is squarely aimed at kids. But kids these days do not love Star Wars because their parents are disgusted by what Disney has done to their beloved franchise. It’s just like you said, parents haven’t taught their kids to love Star Wars. Nobody cares.

All of us were excited about it. We would talk about it in comic books stores, in the streets, and in our homes. And every one was also excited when the first trilogy story came out … until we watched it. What you are suggesting is we would have had to know the future to not be excited about Disney taking over the ownership. At the time, Disney and Iger hadn’t shown its DEI woke face. Hind sight is always 20/20. Knowing the future is always impossible.

I think it was unpopular because most people couldn't afford it. I don't understand why Disney wouldn't just turn it into a normal hotel themed to Star Wars, but without the concept of being in a Star Wars story. Leave the rooms as is and have some Star Wars themed restaurants. That would likely lower the price and allow more people to experience it.

This pisses off people even who thought the Star Wars hotel was a horribly implemented idea. Why? The big issue with the hotel was never that it wasn't a cool themed hotel. It was that the hotel was $6,000 dollars for a 2-night stay. It would have cost them almost nothing to just remove the show and tone down the costumes making it a more standard hotel with amazing theme, for a more realistic price. But no. . . why would middle class people deserve a hotel like this? If you won't pay $6,0000 for a family of 4 to stay 2 nights, you don't deserve anything peasants.

I heard in the Hotel reviews that this building has no room windows, so it will be little more then a big empty box with inside cubicles most likely. This sounds much like a 'rats in a maze' type situation for those working there. If so it's so very very Disney. I have to disagree with pro, partly. When they opened this failure of a hotel, they could have had the original characters appear occasionally at the attraction. But now…. So many of fans have totally abandoned Star Wars, some don’t even care about the first three episodes anymore. We are so tired of being attacked by the stars. I have heard from a huge collector that they seen a rare toy that they didn’t have, and yet they passed on getting it for their collection. At this point I don’t think even George could bring the fans back.
