I went travelling to South East Asia in 2019 and I ended up staying for over 2 years because of covid. I went from working in a boring office with some miserable people to teaching English to children in a popular beachside city. I used to watch KZbin videos with them to illicit vocabulary at the end of the lesson and this was one of the videos I watched. It hit pretty hard. Although I eventually returned to that job for a few years in 2021, I am now a full-time, fully qualified English teacher. I actually really like teaching people.
