Claude Frollo was also quite the crazy villain! Dude kicked Quasimodo's mother down the steps of the church to her death and lied to Quasimodo that his mother abandoned him! He was so obsessed with Esmeralda that when he saw Quasimodo receive affection from Esmeralda and reject Frollo, he got so enraged that he admitted he didn't regret doing that to Quasimodo's mother, and tried to crucify both Quasimodo and Esmeralda and burned Paris down in the process. And agreed, I love that scene in Toy Story 2 about fixing Woody. It felt like the man who fixed Woody knew toys are alive and that's why he treated Woody with the utmost respect. Another detail I love about Toy Story 2: Before Pixar jumped into full-length feature films, they started with animated shorts. The first of which was The Adventures of André & Wally B. When Hamm is flipping through the stations on Andy’s TV looking for the ad for Al’s Toy Barn, several of Pixar’s famous shorts flash on the screen.

That whole Storyliving neighborhood thing isn't the first time Disney has tried building a community. Before it became a theme park, Epcot was meant to be a futuristic city. The reason it became a permanent World's Fair concept instead is because quite simply, when Walt passed away, they felt like they wouldn't be able to achieve it without him to lead the way. However, the idea of Epcot was instrumental in prompting the state of Florida to create the Reedy Creek Improvement District (now the Central FL Tourism Oversight District), which gave Disney World its own government and act like a city. Of course, this changed in 2023. There's also the Golden Oak upscale community built by them by Fort Wilderness in 2011. But during Michael Eisner's time as CEO, he attempted to do Walt's original vision for Florida by creating a model community called Celebration. He took a part of Disney World property, separated it from Disney World and formed a master-planned community gathering architects like Michael Graves and Philip Johnson to create a what they hoped to be a diverse and lively community...by 2000, the makeup was revealed to be over 80 percent White. Disney did SO much advertising towards Latinos and African-Americans, and yet no one wanted to move in. Maybe it's because Celebration looks like every boring Florida retirement community, or that they didn't build subsidized housing, instead choosing to donate 900K to Osceola residents to help them purchase homes worth under 80K...the houses in Celebration are worth more than that. Telecommunications and energy services are provided to the town by Smart City Telecom and Reedy Creek Energy Services, both operated by Walt Disney World

Scenes weren't shot in the same order they released in (or even close to it), so this really is about programming the audience rather than giving up on the part of the filmmakers.
