I love that you got the original Parent Trap and Swiss Family Robinson. The only other one I was hoping you were going to pickup was Treasure Island (1950) - hands down one of the best live action films, IMO. I think it was also their first live action film that kicked off all their others. Old Yeller and 20,000 Leagues is also pretty good, and I own. Only ones I wish I had picked up as a blind buy was Pollyanna, as I still have never seen that one. Either way, great haul!

If your looking for “20,000 leagues under the sea” and “Bedknobs and Broomsticks” get both on dvd because they both have special features and the Blu-ray’s don’t have them, seems Disney took time making dvds but just rushed the Blu-ray’s and just bare bones them. Very nice haul I have 2 orders my self coming in

Hey guys- great video! I would echo everybody who has mentioned the banshee scene in Darby. I’m a bit older than you guys, so I saw it at the tender age of 3 on its first re-release in the theaters in the late sixties as my first movie in a movie theater. My parents would always rib me on how the banshee freaked me out. Just watch it before you show it to the kids. 😉❤️

Hi, DJ and Grace! Darby O'Gill and the Little People is a wonderful film I think you both will enjoy. However, you might want to watch it yourselves before deciding whether to show it to the kids. There is at least one scene that might be pretty scary for the little ones. I also would recommend another Disney live-action film with leprechauns titled "The Gnome-Mobile" from 1967. It stars Walter Brennan and the two kids from Mary Poppins. It's also a real treat. And by the way, I love the original Parent Trap, too. It's prime Disney '60s live action fun. And you can't beat Hayley Mills!

I wish I would have been able to grab The Parent Trap and George of the Jungle the most. Plus, Jungle 2 Jungle those 3 I wish I had been able to grab. Oh well.

The only DMC film I own is The Journey of Natty Gann, which, if you haven't seen it, is an absolutely incredible coming-of-age film from 1985 that encapsulates so many of my favorite things from my childhood: father-daughter relationships, trains, wolves, hot young John Cusack. I highly recommend.

I love Darby O'Gill and The Little People. It's not about St. Patrick's day....but people watch it on that day primarily because it has leprechauns in it

Great choices! I tried to sign up for the club when I heard it’s closing so I could place an order but they wouldn’t let me 😢 I have a few of these DMC releases I’ve gotten on eBay over the years. I have George of the Jungle, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Cool Runnings, The Rocketman, Treasure Island, 10,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Goofy Movie and The Parent Trap (remake). I wish I could’ve gotten The Black Cauldron, the Mighty Ducks movies, Holes, Jungle 2 Jungle, and maybe a couple others

Aah I grew up on all these movies! The herbie sequels are all great (I mean in a nostalgic sense) Darby movie is great but I wouldn’t suggest it for your young kids. There’s a really creepy part in it that scared me as a kid! The banshee scene near the end!! :)

Hello to you both! Thanks for another great show! I have always been a big Disney fan so these exclusives are priceless to me. As for recommendations? Get the Hayley Mills movies: "Pollyanna", "In Search Of The Castaways", "Summer Magic", "The Moon-spinners", "That Darn Cat" & "Parent Trap II". After you get them, get Hayley Mills' Non-Disney films. "Tiger Bay", "The Trouble With Angels" & "The Family Way" are absolute Must-Haves that you both will truly love! After you get them, get the rest of Hayley Mills' movies & shows. Did you know she was in the first season of "Saved By The Bell"? That season the show was called "Good Morning Miss Bliss". Can you tell I'm a Hayley Mills fan? Lol! Now Back to Disney. The exclusives I have in my collection are: "The Absent Minded Professor", "A Mom For Christmas", "Charlie & The Angel", "Dad, Can I Borrow The Car", "Escape To Witch Mountain", "Flight Of The Navigator", "The Gnome-Mobile", "The Hardy Boys", "Make Mine Music", Melody Time", "The Monkey's Uncle", "Return From Witch Mountain", "So Dear To my Heart", "Son Of Flubber", "Swiss Family Robinson" & "The Thanksgiving Promise. Off-Topic Bonus - Two ABBA songs I recommend: "Honey Honey" (Awesome on headphones too!) & "Slipping Through My Fingers" (This will tug at your heartstrings.) Take care!!! --- Bill

Great video and pick ups. The original Parent Trap is my favorite Disney movie. Had all the Hayley Mills collection tapes growing up. Still have the vault Disney DVDs for that and Swiss Family Robinson. I actually like Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves better than Blew Up The Kid. I've seen all the Herbie movies, but it's been a long time. I have Herbie Rides Again and it's an ok sequel. George of the Jungle is good, but that sequel was terrible.
@christianknight30149 ай бұрын
Saw most of those picks, only real love out of those is The Parent Trap(1998). Yes, I have seen the Herbie movies(all of them) and I saw them when I was way too old to see them. They're awful. Don Knots is in one of them, and he's always a redeeming factor, but overall, don't bother.

Is there any chance if you could make a video on films that you would show your child at different stages of their life, starting with the first films you'd ever show them to their first ever introduction to R-Rated films? Where you could do a series of them breaking them down by different notable moments of their life, whether that be films you've already shown or hope to show in the future. I know that you value creating a rich love of film in your kids and make that notable in your videos, so I think it would be a good fit for your channel and could be a way to get new viewers if your video reaches the right search bar terms.
