Revisiting this vlog on a stressful deadline day. This was the blog that introduced me to Blair and wow, did I feel like I was watching a kindred spirit. Side note: because of this vlog my Disney trip at the end of January will be a Sunday to Saturday trip - it's an inspired idea to have a buffer day. Thanks for everything, Blair! Keep blogging!

Disney Tip: if your phone is on a low battery, you can go to customer service and ask them to charge your phone while you are in the park and you can pick it up whenever you’d like :)

I love that you did the buffer days! That is exactly how I do Disney whenever we do it. It is so crucial to have those extra days to rewind and unwind! In fact, I enjoy my first day at Disney not being a park day, haha! I like to just get in and rest; however, we have always driven down (14 hours) and not flown so that might be different next year! I really want to attempt the whole idea of flying in and hitting a park the same day, but we’ll see!

Also, I need that white noise machine. I usually use an app on my phone that has different fan sounds and it works okay in a pinch, but the sound is kind of weird.

The buffer days were game-changers! We will definitely do that again. And yes to the white noise machine! We used to use an app but it didn't have the "right" sound. We're obsessed with the travel one!

I bought a Pack It Flat last year, based on your recommendation and I love it. I only fly with carryon, so it makes fitting everything in so easy. I also love how you can hang it from a towel rack if you’re sharing a bathroom at your destination, and keep your makeup off the counter. I feel like less of a space hog.

atm, my husband doesnt get vacation pay, so we dont have to worry too much about it. hes working a contract atm and we have our own clients. it was a tough choice to make because its three weeks but he will still most likly be doing some work while away. the odd email here and there. but the month we go is a queit month.... unless we get more new clients.... then its bitter sweet LOL im feeling stressed about getting it all sorted!

We start prepping for Disney (or any vacation really) by putting out our suitcases on our spare bedroom bed about 2 weeks ahead of time. As we do laundry, pick up items from the store and think of things to add, we put them in the suitcase. About 3-4 days before the trip we go through our packing list to make sure we have everything included and pack everything neatly. The items you pack the day of are on a separate list to remind us to pack our glasses, phone chargers etc. Can't wait for the rest of the Disney Vlogs!

Watching your video again to make sure i don't forget anything for our Disney trip in 3 weeks! I'm so excited!! Cant wait to find out when you guys are going back! Where did you get that case for your makeup sponge? I have looked all over for one and do you guys fly out of DFW? We've never flown before and was wandering if it was a crazy place and how early we should get there before our flight? We are driving down from Oklahoma because we had a trip booked for Oct out of OKC and our flight got cancelled long story short we ended up not getting to go and had to reschedule for Jan. Hoping this time works out for us, luckily talked my husband into getting on a plane again :) I thought one flight straight thru would be better luck than trying to get a connected flight, that was a nightmare.

Do you put any liquids/gels in a plastic ziploc in your carry-on? I want to keep a small tube of toothpaste, mouthwash, hand sanitizer, etc. in my pouch for an overnight flight. I think the best way to go is to put it in the ziploc right in my little pouch to take out easily for security? Excuse my random thoughts on a Sunday evening, just booked a trip and I’m in travel planning mode :)
