Like I can't think of anyone else who do a better job owning it... Not even Microsoft because they don't make movies and TV... @@GreenBlueWalkthrough Yes and no. We're seeing fan communities that can pool their resources to make their own movies (some are really good too). Disney would actually get their money back as their toys have been rotting on the store shelves for some time (Hasbro even announced that they won't take up the contract to make more due to poor sales). If Disney sold the franchise, it would be beneficial on their part and essentially reset the clock so that somebody else could purchase the franchise. We would have less SW content, but that was no different than before Disney bought it up. There were plenty of video games, books, and even the Clone Wars series that were still being made before Disney ever bought the franchise.

The Acolyte was the ice berg, It caused division among the fans, and then the constant attacks from the entire cast and Kennedy made so many fans lose interest in the IP. way to sink your ship Kennedy, Since you are the captain we expect you to ride that thing to the sea floor. Until the Acolyte we all expected them to pull a Hail Mary with some fantastic story. alas, it was not meant to be.

Some can argue that it was a lot sooner. Season 3 of The Mandalorian was a major dealbreaker as the series originally had the highest viewership of all the Disney series before Book of Boba Fett and S3 popped in (some believed that KK deliberately sabotaged the series, too). In this case, with the sequel trilogy and numerous shows that would slowly eat away the fanbase, by the time the Acolyte came into play, it really drove it in completely. I'm all for it if Disney wants to sell off the franchise. They can use that money to help rebuild their parks or create something new that might work for them in the long run.

@@cmedtheuniverseofcmed8775 I kept my Disney + until the 3rd episode of the acolyte. until then most of us thought that they were going to create some new fantastic story to save the IP. Star Wars theory said the same thing. because the acolyte concept on paper seemed like they were heading in the right direction, until they released it we had hope. after episode 3 we knew Star Wars was dead. Because it was the first project that had nothing to do with Star Wars. they were making up new lore and it made no sense, wrapping their trash in a Star Wars name to sell it.

At this stage, it would be best to position Ben Skywalker, Luke and Mara Jade's son from the EU novels, as the new lead. Make him Luke's long-lost son or something, perhaps trained by Grogu and later Luke, so they can continue the Skywalker Saga. Killing off every Skywalker was a terrible idea. Even worse was making Palpatine's granddaughter an honorary "Skywalker".

Why when they dhavw dave faloni/George's plan that has been going on since at least the clone wars TV show? Which they can still make EU media as it's own canon like it always was they just refuse to for some likely stupid reason... Also if they give up on the sequals they will make most of their current fans extremely mad not just the people who aren't star wars fans anymore... Not that it would kill the IP because that isn't where the vast majority of it's money is madde or where it's fans mostly are anyway...

I heard rogue squadron is still in development. Fingers crossed it ties into the Thrawn storyline as some people seem to be reporting. Sure there are some things I don’t agree with with modern day Star Wars but the future looks bright. Can’t wait for Andor Season 2!

The Marvels, Black Widow, The Eternals, all box office bombs and a slew of terribly received Disney+ shows, with She Hulk being the worst. Quantumania barely made a profit also. Deadpool and Wolverine, despite being a massive success, can't earn enough for Marvel to break even at this point. This doesn't even take into account the massive and costly reshoots for Captain America 4 which has had horrible test screenings.

Xmen97 was one of the most popular animated shows of this year, Agatha All Along though not breaking top 10 charts has the second most view episode for an MCU show, Deadpool and Wolverine was breaking records, Marvel also recently had that collab with Fortnite which was the most popular season since the OG season. Also Marvel has put out some bangers last year as well like; Loki season 2 and Guardians 3. Plus Kevin Feige also acknowledged that they had a few stinkers last year and are working on it. Plus to the person who replied who said that Captain America 4 will be a failure because it had reshoots and bad test screenings, you forgot that it’s a Captain America movie, almost no matter what people will go see it. Plus it’s still doing better than Star Wars, especially since it has films like Fantastic Four coming out next year and Daredevil born again, which is very highly anticipated show.

Marvel is failing/declining hard 📉 Deadpool3 didn't begin as a Disney project and this shows. It is possible to turn Marvel movies around but they are in a clear obvious slump with no serious signs of turning it around. (*I hope they do turn it around)

i said many times before... push the reset button... its simple and easy... use this damn world between worlds thing, correct something so the events after ep 6 never happend... u can use some good ideas of it and correct it... but make sure u have a plan, a good team behind it and make the movie or show a fan pleaser. a simpel 6 episodes mini series live-action 40 mins each episodes... no need for big sets or something like this... have a small cast with good actors... get some lgbtq+ actors if u find some good ones, hire em... dont make it look silly or goofy... just straight forward, e small journey to the world between world and correct that shit... its ultra simple... if u wanted to put a main villain into that mix... take a mysterious guy wearing a mask, let him be as less voice acting as possible but if he speak something, the voice alone should make u piss in your pants... and take damn serious... no agenda non-sense, focus on the journey... the adventure. u can bring in who ever you want... its damn simple. the best thing on the sequels was ben solo and snoke... this two things are great in tfa and u can repeat it... and make it even better. knight of ren stuff... go for it... sith stuff... go for it... jedi shadow stuff... go for it... andor-type-characters... go for it.

@@bigtomboye total understandable. im not willing to check out, this is something ive earned over the years within martial arts training. the thing i done since the acolyte is if the show is crap i dont watch it. if its a show ill give it 3 to 4 episodes to pick me up on the journey if its a movie i hold on reviews from non-star wars channels just for the quality check. i will not give up this franchise but i will not support non-sense or crap. life-time is valuable and nobody should waste it with crap even if it has star wars on the flag. for example... within ep 8 my best friend just leaved the theatre after the your mother joke in the first 20-30 minutes or so... he stopped watching everyhting... not watch mando, not watched the bad batch and not watch andor...this is something i cant do but i can understand if fans are doing this... this is a real consequence, when the things suck a studio released and sw is decades old and established.

Kennedy Star Wars is a disaster with the exception of the first two seasons ofThe manadlorian (don't know about season 3). When Kennedy leaves, just fire all of her followers, retcon the entire Kennedy Star Wars franchise (with the possible exception of The Mandorlorian). Get good Scifi and Star Wars writers and directors, drop the SJW agendas and make good Star Wars movies and TV series.

Why when it's still one of the highest grossing IPs today and of all time? Like yes most of their movies and TV shows have failed but not all of them and it really does not matter because most of the moeny star wars has always made has been thogh lisncing. Like Lego star wars continues to make Lego the world's highest profiting toy maker most of their moeny which in turn makes Disney a ton of their money... So yeah the only way I can think of that Disney would give up their cash cow. Is if their leadership doubles down on the whole movie and film first thing which is of corse their CEOs pet media... But I really don't think Disney is that stupid like look at the parks.... They are using that cash cow to fund their movies and TV so if they are doing that why would they get rid of Star wars which likely makes much more moeny?
