We stayed at Coronado for our honeymoon in Sept 1998. We were in the Ranchos 6A building. It was quite a walk to get to the El Centro area; if it was raining we’d drive or bus it there.

I'm a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America. We held our 2007 convention there at Coronado Springs. I was fortunately in Casitas 2, several of the members were in the Ranchos. They brought in extra golf carts as an internal shuttle service. Disney was one of my favorite conventions. 😉😉

I think they should have at least put in a refillable station somewhere in the gran destino tower because that walk to just go fill up your cups is brutal when staying in the tower and your not eating anything.

I believe there definitely be more stations property wide. Some spots are definitely long trips.

I loved my stay at the Gran Destino. It was my first solo trip and I was scared of the size, but it really was not bad and I loved having that gorgeous resort to walk around each morning. A little tip…if you are staying in the Ranchos section and think it’s too far to walk to the main building for food/drinks, just hop on any park bus. The tower is the last stop (for parks, not Springs) so you can get off the bus at the tower and walk down the sidewalk just a tiny bit to go in the door by Panchitos. But with the bridges across the lake, it really isn’t that bad of a walk. Such a great resort!

We stayed in the casitas a couple of years ago. It was very peaceful and quiet, but close to all the amenities. It’s a beautiful resort. Another great video!! Thanks for letting us travel along 🤓

The Gran Destino Tower is beautiful, but after watching this video, I’d prefer a room in the Ranchos buildings. The immersive Southwest theme combined with the more secluded vibe is excellent. I like the original sections of this resort; they have that classic Disney moderate feel to them. The tower is like I could be staying in Atlantic City.

Another great resort tour, Todd😊 We have stayed at Coronado Springs in the Ranchos section and Cabanas section during the building of Gran Destino! Love the Dig Site pool and relaxing in the hammocks around the resort. Can't wait to hear about your new project with Katie in April! Wilderness Lodge is at the top of our favorites, but can't wait to see them all!

They did remove cabanas to build the tower. They also had some of the “water sprites” on the lake before three bridges was added. I loved the lamb chops also.

Just stayed there for spring break. Had a GREAT time… until a kid pooped in the pool, other than that, great time! Maya Grill was great, three bridges was great (corn dip was over rated but everything else was good) and some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever talked to all around the resort. I wish the kids playground was a bit bigger, but the pool bar is right beside it so the wife and I were happy. Amazing coffee and even better espresso martinis from the same coffee bar. Don’t pass up Coronado!

We stayed here on an adults only trip last year and I kind of fell in love with this resort. definitely feels more like a deluxe with the tower and although it's big, having the bridges makes getting around so much easier and quicker. However, I don't think I'd stay here with my kids. Not enough of the Disney vibes for a family vacation.

My goodness, Coronado Springs is a huge resort!! You just made our decision harder, with which Disney resort to stay at. lol! I thought the Caribbean resort, but not so sure now! lol! The trouble isI can be very indecisive, which frustrates my husband to no end! lol! I remember wanting to eat at Maya restaurant way back when , because it always had a high rating with Disney All Ears. Plus, you and Michelle gave it a thumbs up, definitely give it a try. Thank you for the resort tour, found it very thorough!
