Now Nate, you know people are different but as a Christian, I think it’s absolutely wonderful that Epcot doesn’t start their Christmas festivities or decorations until after Thanksgiving! Just my point of view. I do love Christmas and the Christmas spirit, but we have to remember what these holidays are all about and celebrate them giving them the respect they deserve individually one at a time.!! Christmas literally has pagan roots (Saturnalia and Yule) and it was “adopted” by the church in the 4th century. Most people celebrate it as a secular holiday to celebrate family, generosity and new beginnings. It’s not that serious.

Most Christmas decorations are Pagan so it makes sense to decorate after Halloween. The Christmas tree started out as a Yule tree and a lot of Christians even put a pentagram on the top.
