Our Stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Cabins! Cabin Tour, Campground, Pools, Grilling, Beach & More!

Join us for my first time staying at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - before the cabins are changed forever! We are bringing you along for a full cabin and campground tour and our full stay, including a cabin tour, before they are removed and replaced with new DVC cabins in 2024! A tour of the campground, renting a golf cart and driving around the different loops to see RVs, tents and more, swimming in the pool and waterslide, grilling dinner at our cabin, visiting the horses at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, enjoying Happily Ever After fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant from the beach, roasting marshmallows, a surprise Halloween decorations at some campsites, and lots of Halloween merchandise in the shops, drinks at Crockett's Tavern, checking out the newly remodeled Trail's End restaurant, and LOTS MORE! Once you’ve driven a golf cart, the car you’ve driven for years suddenly feels huge and noisy 😜 The cabin looks incredible! Love the mason jars. I think “cozy” is exactly the word for it - the cabins may not be the most luxurious accommodations on Disney property, but they’re arguably the most nostalgic. Also… 24:18 so far, this is our favorite moment in any Super Enthused vlog ever. 😂 It’s a shame to think that all of these rustic log cabins are basically going to be trendy shipping containers in a few months’ time 🥲 Glad you two were able to book a proper stay before progress runs the place over. I remember doing the canoe trip to the beach there in the early 80's. At that time they had the electric light parade on the water. We had a competition to see who could get the most marshmallows in their mouth. I won... a bag of marshmallows. LOL

I love the cabins. I stayed there a decade ago. I especially liked the boat ride to the wilderness lodge. You can enjoy this area with no park visits at all

My husband and I stayed at the contemporary in June for our 20 year anniversary. We were just relaxing on the beach and didn’t even know about the water parade. It was such a pleasant surprise! So retro 😂

I tent camped at Fort Wilderness and my first night I heard the music for the water parade, and had no idea what it was or where it was coming from. I kind of shouted, gently, at my camping neighbor "Where is that music coming from!?" And they had no clue either. Lol. When I finally figured it out, I watched it from Clementine Beach and it was fun.

I’ll have to ask my sisters if they remember the train in Fort Wilderness, they were ten and seven when we went there in 1975. I was only four and don’t remember much, which is weird because I’m the one with the best memory in the family! 🤷‍♀️ I do remember that the road in was all forest, it wasn’t built up like it is now!

We have been staying in the cabins the last few years and love it. We switch each year to either do the Halloween or the Christmas seasons . The decorations by the RV campers is worth the trip in a golf cart to see then all.

My family and I stayed at the cabins last week! I’ve gotta say… if I were to do it again, I would make it a resort only stay. We had to shorten our trip and didn’t have time to soak in and experience everything at Fort Wilderness. The space was nice to have. So much storage! Great video! Love your positivity!

I am a Fort Wilderness child from the 80s & 90s. My family could not afford to stay at the Disney hotels. I'm waiting for that railroad picture to show up in Property Control. We stayed in the cabins when my kids were little and I wanted that picture so bad.

Years ago when things were much cheaper, on one of our non park days, we resort hopped to Ft. Wilderness and rented a golf cart. It was around $30 for an hour a think. We rode everywhere. It was great. We weren't staying there, just went and rented the cart as a walk up. This was way back in the early 2000s. I loved Trails End when it was a buffet. It only cost for an adult back then around $8. The food was awesome. I really hate to see things how they have changed so much there at Disney. The old classic Disney days seem to be gone. Maybe one day some of them will come back. I really would like to feel the "magic" again.

@SuperEnthused Yeah, like just about every word in English has multiple pronunciations, most often impacted by regional dialects. There is a "standard," most often associated with Midwestern vernacular and dictionaries utilize that standard for enunciation when using syllables and sound association, as in the case of suh·kay·duh. You will always find variants from the norm, but when you introduce people to a language, those standards are used as that baseline. I'm sure your awesome fíance can tell you the multiple influences in American culture, while amazing, have bastardized the language, making it one of the most difficult languages to acquire. we hit Fort Wildnerness this past weekend..first time in years. I forgot how nice it was. Stayed in a cabin and it was perfect. We used to have a camper and did that whole thing with the kids. Our daughter is in her 20's now and came just for 'old times sake'. A lot of kid stuff doesn't apply to us anymore but it was fun anyway. Watched the fireworks (they are later on nights of the Magic Kingdom Halloween event). I hate seeing them take these cabins out. As always appreciate seeing your cute as a button face and info. (are buttons really that cute?). Oh..it was HOT at MK.

when i was younger my family randomly picked up a disneyworld tourism guide from a travel agent. it had individual sections about each hotel, and this is the one i've always wanted to stay at! i remember staring at the pages, thinking about how cool the cabins looked :-)) super awesome video

I stayed in the cabin a couple years ago when the middle spot in the living room still had a Murphy bed. That was the most comfortable bed I had ever slept in. I really wish they would leave it the way it is. Somethings should just be left alone that is so wilderness like I don’t really care for what they wanna do with the new ones whoever saw a modern glass cabin in the middle of the woods really

I camped at Fort Wilderness once, as a kid. Back in the late 90s. We have a pop up camper we used (still have it too). I mostly remember it being so hot, and having all the fans we could running, since the camper does not have AC.

I love Fort Wilderness and I hate that they are getting rid of the cabins the way they are. My first time staying there was in 1987 in a camper with my family. We made such good memories. I have stayed there several times since in the cabins. It’s especially great in December when all the campers and cabins are decorated. 💜

I am very impressed. Thank you so much for filming and sharing. I know it's a fake in-the-woods but seems that it could be quite unique for being at Disney World. It would be so nice with younger children as well. Almost like being in the woods, and seems quite Disney fun. I love the campsites and area. It was funny to see how much food you cooked.
