Gaston as Boromir was a genius touch; the hero type who is really a villain yet redeems himself. Mickey was a cop out as Sam; Quasimodo would have been a better choice. BUT, Mickey would have been a great (finally added) Tom Bombadil.

Hey dude, I really like your video. I like how you only use classic 2D characters. It’s funny, because I’ve always had imagine what a Disney version of Lord of the Rings would be. And I have my own list of which Disney character would play each Lord of the Rings character. But to be very honest and I swear I’m not making this up. I also casted Stitch as Gollum because they sound so similar. And I had thought of this way before I watched your video, so I really hope you don’t think I’m stealing your idea. 😅 it’s just a funny coincidence. But if you don’t mind me sharing here’s my version. I will let the man I am borrowing a similar casting choices from other sources, including yours, but it’s just different enough. Pinocchio as Frodo Bear lost boy as Sam John Darling as Mary Christopher Robin as Pippin Merlin as Gandalf Winnie the Pooh as Bilbo Prince Eric as Aragon Peter Pan as Legolas Grumpy as Gimli Belle as Arwen Frollo as Saruman Chernabog as Sauron Stitch as Gollum Maleifcent’s henchmen as the Orcs Ogres from Gummy Bears as Trolls Shang as Elrond Hyenas as Wargs Eagle from The Rescuers down under as the eagles (but multiple them) King Triton as Treebeard The trees from the silly symphonies cartoon as the Ents Aurora as Eowyn King Hubert as Theoden Dragons from Black Cauldron as Fell beasts The Horned King as Witch King Yeti from Matterhorn as Balwrog Troll from Enchanted as Cave Troll Clayton as Denethor King Stephen as Eomund Phobos as Boromir Prince Phillip (but blonde) as Faramir Lafou as Grima The Blue Fairy as Galadriel Winnie the Pooh characters and Gummy bear characters as The Shire residents. Somethings, I should explain is Winnie the Pooh as Bilbo I know wouldn’t make sense, but it’s only cause I can’t really think of anyone else to cast as him. But I figured if family guy can cast Stewie as Darth Vader who is the father of Leia and Luke played by Lois and Chris, who are his mother and brother then why not cheat the same way. Some characters, like I said, I got inspired by other sources that casted those same characters as these characters. Some of the characters I casted may be seen as seen as odd choices, but I just chose who I can imagine in those roles based off of their appearances. But the main supporting characters I really try to choose based on who looks the part. I had to cheat a little bit in order for my version to work. The spider from Emperor’s new grove for example I had to use because there’s no spider characters in the Disney universe and that’s only spider character that exists. Marahute is the only eagle character that exists so I had to use her. But just pretend there’s more eagles. The Fates, I know there’s only them three but just pretend there’s more and there’s male ones too. As for the background people and townspeople in various locations throughout middle earth are a mixture of the townspeople from Robin Hood and human characters as well. That are not from any Disney movie, but just made up background characters to fill in the scenery. I only did this for fun, it’s not meant to be taken seriously. I just like casting my favorite characters in serious roles from an epic movie franchise. 😅😅 I still like your video. I just did mines a little differently. Also, another thing about my list is I tried using characters that are not connected to Mickey Mouse. So I hope you guys like my own take on this parody. 😁😄😃
