i love how you point out how hard working tiana is at 8:34. many people question why lottie doesn’t give tiana more financial help since she comes from money … but the whole point of tiana’s story is that she made it on her own and has always been perfectly capable of doing so. we don’t see that with many disney princesses. they usually “need saving” but here she saves naveen which i admire. this movie is truly special.

I love how the restaurant name changed from Tiana’s place to Tiana’s palace🥰 AND I love how Lottie‘s dad was like the main reason for her being so cool with Tia (I mean that’s how raising kids works lmao) but like I just love the idea of back when segregation was still a thing, because her Mama makes these beautiful dresses for Lottie he’s like “yeah fvck it bring yours she can come play” and he talks to her like an equal, not like an employee💕

at 13:33, i also find it so sweet how their ethnic & socioeconomic backgrounds never interfered with the connection between them. the only thing i can think of is lottie being a bit too optimistic at times for tiana’s life because she doesn’t fully understand how life is for tiana because lottie is so used to be handed things on a silver platter and working out for her. that’s the ONLY disconnect i notice in their friendship and it comes from a place of love and lottie wanting the best for tiana 🥹 i love how she never viewed her as “the seamstress’s daughter” but instead as her childhood best friend 🥹

I certainly wasn't expecting them to kill off Ray because he was a comic relief character and I found his death really said considering he helped the heroes more than once without anything to gain from it which is why I was surprised they all moved past his death so quickly but then I rewatched it and realised ray became the Star next to Evangeline implying she wasn't just an intimate object but once a firefly until death and now ray is with her.😊 I guess it's also a nod to Timon's belief in the lion king that stars are fireflies.

13:37 there’s been a theory that Lottie actually had that dress made for Tiana, since everything she owns is pink, blue is so out of character for her to own. This is also shown because everything Lottie owns has some sort of pizazz (feathers, poofy skirts, sparkles). But the blue dress is so simple, with the singular sash and complimentary gloves. This is also more Tiana’s style, she doesn’t like too much. There’s also a theory that Lottie used Tiana’s food as a ploy to help her pay for her restaurant. Tiana hates handouts, and Lottie probably tried to help her before, this was the only way for Lottie to give Tiana her dream. She knew Tiana didn’t NEED all that money for beignets, but for the restaurant, she just used the beignets as an excuse 😂 Lottie is probably one of the best supporting cast Disney has, she’s a ditz, but she’s got a good heart.

This is where magic started again after slump. They perfected magic next film: Tangled. Still this is one the better Disney films. Great story, great voice acting and amazing music. Animation is just top notch. It looks really good hand drawn animation and CGI blend. This is probably one the most beautiful Disney films when it comes sheer color and art style.

To the men out there, don’t go to dances alone unless you have a committed date or a group of friends. Cause asking a woman to dance with you, she’ll 95% turn you down without trying to hurt you. Charlotte is such a good character. She’s ditzy and a spoiled girly girl, but also very kind and genuinely cares about her friend, Tiana. At every corner you expect her to become the typical mean girl, but instead she shows up for her friend and supports her.

The exact date of these events is April 25th, 1926. And I know this because someone with way more tech savvy and patience than me did a freeze frame zoom in of the newspaper Charlotte is reading about the arrival of Prince Naveen, and that's the date shown on the paper. Also, the little jazz band playing at Tiana's Palace at the end are called The Firefly Five, in tribute to Ray. The name is on their drumkit, and no one ever notices! 😮

Yeah, they were just lots of different theories like how his shadow is part of like Peter Pan’s shadow because of like from Majic and the Neverland Pirates mix and if you never seen that one either Jake and the Neverland Pirates, you have to watch that movie where they go visit Wendy, it was like another good movie and then I know that there was another good Jake and the Neverland Pirates movie, but it wasn’t as good as that one. That’s what you have to watch Jake and the Neverland Pirates the series as well but the movies are better than series. Especially that one that I mentioning. I think that’s what it was called but anyway, I know that’s like another good movie too even though it’s a really. sad movie at first. And then it’s more of like the bounty hunters and it’s totally cool. And then there were different theories about that too, but just lots of different theories about those movies as well. Like the good theories, though like the ones that Alex Bale came up with for Blue’s Clues. Like those kinds of theories.
