At this point these movies are "remakes', they're regurgitations. Disney would've been better off just releasing the old movies in theaters annually like the Studio Ghibli films. Even if they don't make that much, it wouldn't cost nearly as much as reinventing the wheel.

What I really don't understand of this movie: Disney: "We wanna be more inclusive, that's why we do -blackwashing- hire non-caucasian actors" Ok... but if the F-ing protagonist is called SNOWWHITE because of her skin AS WHITE AS SNOW... WHY YOU CHOSE A GOLD-SKINNED COLOMBIAN!? I literally can get behind EVERYBODY ELSE YOU BLACKWASHED! Blue Fairy? Ok, you clearly wanted to adapt the "otherwordly" appearence that, in animation, you gave to her with the rotoscope. Sensable. Ariel? I mean, ngl, when I think of the sea, it's hard NOT to think of tanned skins, could have been worked better, but ok. SNOWWHITE? That... goes against the NAME! Well... at least you will surely give some dwarf actors some recognition, instead of something controversial like using CGI to make normal people smaller. Disney: "No enhancements. Just full CGI" WTF!!! Disney: "Oh, also, we need to adress the inappropiate kiss" OK, come that IS easy. After all, it was given a sensable reason in Sleeping Beauty, but doesn't really work with Snow White (She's 100% dead. Lemme kiss her.) Surely you used the original book solution, in which the chunk of the apple she ate got suck in her troath and choked her, so the poison didn't even do anything and when the prince asks for her casket to be moved to his palace, someone trips and accidentally Heimlich-s her back to life... *RIGHT* !? Disney: "...there's a Snow White book?" I can't say ALL remakes are 100% bad. Like... Pinocchio actually did some genuine good alterations that make it close enough to the original tale and fixes the original movie's problem, with Pinocchio actually learning from mistakes he is 100% responsable for, compared to the original in which he DRAGGED OFF from the straight path. Cinderella also was basically a good "extended version" with less animals stealing the spotlight. Also good Maleficent also was a nice touch of creativity. Even Cruella, I hear people be "good, apart from the ending" Sometimes I feel they do make this stuff correctly. But the 90% of the time is just a bad copypaste or THIS.
