When we went to this dinner show 19 years ago they didn’t have a pre-show. After the dinner was over the dancing, singing, etc began. It ended with the fire dance. Yes the seats cut into you, the food was mediocre but I enjoyed the dancing.

I believe the first 45 min is designed that way because they know everyone talks while they get their food and eat. So there must be a balance to provide something for those who want to listen or just eat. That does not excuse what they did but maybe just live music during the first 45 min.

My family and I were there a few weeks ago and I can honesty say this review describes The Spirit of Aloha PERFECTLY! We even sat at the same spot for the show! Cool dancing but a weird story plot that was WAY too long and no one was even paying attention. The food was average but at the end of the show (a little over 2 hours) I was so sleepy!

I can tell you I have definitely experienced a lot in this world I have experienced a lot of negativity and hardship in my past and from that I learned that I prefer to focus on the good in life no matter where I am standing no matter what condition that I am looking at I spread love and positivity. From my experiences with the negative I learned that this world can really benefit from more love and positivity so that is what I do. I woke up to many realizations through my experiences and I can not express all of them here in this small comment and I know first hand that this world can feel so mean and hard at times like I said I have experienced some really extremely negative situations myself but just know that there are people like me who promote love and peace and goodness always and I love unconditionally not because the world earned my love but because I choose to love it is what feels best to me. My favorite part of the dinner is their pineapple coconut bread and the dessert. I've always gone with my family and friends. It's probably good to note when I was there last it seems different from what you had. The bread was served as a loaf and with butter, and the dessert was a banana fosters bread pudding. If they changed it, I'll be slightly disappointed to go back. EDIT: I just realized I'm talking about 'Ohana which I feel is the better restaurant in the Polynesian Resort.

epcot's garden grill restaurant in the land pavilion is actually quite delicious. yes its not a restaurant in the world pavilion but its absolutely amazing. we still hit this place every time we make a trip to disney world and its a must visit for us. the booths spin around in a circle in an hour's time and its all you can eat. the server just keeps bringing more food to your table. ironic that the name is "grill" because none of the food is grilled per say, but they give you roast beef (brisket?), turkey, other meats and delicious sides. everything is flavorful and fresh. i recommend you stop by there next time youre in epcot for whatever reason and review it.
