Disney's Steakhouse 71 (Lunch Review) | New Restaurant at Walt Disney World's Contemporary Resort

We are back at Walt Disney World's newest restaurant Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort, but this time for lunch! Formerly The Wave, this new restaurant is offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. We check out breakfast the other day and I will link that review video below. So is this lunch menu worth it to leave The Magic Kingdom and walk over for lunch? We'll check out a couple of dishes to see if it is worth leaving the park or even worth it to make a special trip over to The Contemporary. So sweet that they brought out champagne! I celebrated my birthday at Topolino's last year and got one of those tasty lemon Madeleines that are usually sold at Le Petit Cafe! It was stuck on a small piece of chocolate cake and had a piece of dark chocolate with "Happy Birthday" stamped across it a few times. Other than that, I think the tastiest birthday treat I've had at Disney was the chocolate mousse with iridescent sprinkles at Garden Grill! That or the dollop of Grey Stuff at Be Our Guest 😋

I love Monorail yellow on the wall. The atmosphere looks chill. Love the 71 butter. Thanks for the burger review. I get suckered into huge burger pictures and I say "I want that giant burger!" and then all I taste is meat and not that much flavor. Great review! The Edison burger IS amazing. Ah-buh-byee!

The bread looked so good. The grilled cheese with pork sandwich looked amazing! Burger looked good too but double patty seemed like a lot of meat. Unfortunately due to my recent surgery has changed. No more medium neat for me Or raw food. I tell people @ if I like a certain food, I can no longer eat it.” I’m definitely willing to try this place for lunch. Would definitely leave the park for a break and a good meal.

Really? If you tell a restaurant it’s your birthday when you do mobile check in they usually do something!

@@MagicalHijinx I have only had one stay since mobile check in started and it wasn’t my bday then, but I have done 2 visits before covid where it was and 1 where it was my friend’s and neither of us got anything other than “happy birthday”.
