This list makes me so happy! I was waiting for my absolute favorite, that being sleeping beauty to be at the very bottom of the list. She usually is because nowadays people focus on how everyone has to be assertive and the 3 main princesses being snowy Aurora and cedrella being awful even though they don't take into consideration the time period they were written in and for. So with every climb up the list I was so hopeful that princess Aurora would finally get a good mention and she actually got the top of the list. I think this video is my favorite

Aurora does very little for me. Cinderella is more active than her, although I can't blame her too much. Prince Phillip is good, though, the way he plays his father and doesn't just run away and cry like Aurora does when he's told he can't marry the peasant girl in the forest, he laughs and rides off. But I watch Sleeping Beauty for the animation. I'd like a print of clip from the first song for my house. And I love that they chose to use the music from the ballet. It's gorgeous.

If the sword in the stone didn't focus on Arthur but Merlin, I think the film would've ranked higher. In Dutch it's known as 'Merlijn de tovenaar' and I have viewed it as a much better movie through that reason.

Alice is much more interesting than this list gives her credit for. She's dreamy, imaginative, curious, impulsive at times, but also polite and proper, plus her whole "I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it" spiel is super relatable. Who among us hasn't thought something along those lines?

As for the others, to be honest, I do find Arthur bland, but he’s not a terrible lead. And Mowgli’s kind of a little brat, but I do find his friendship with Baloo very sweet.

@@fattuscattus2200 I disagree that Mowgli was a brat. He's just a kid and it's hard for him to leave the only home he's ever known. Also, he was raised by wolves, who are known to be aggressive whenever they're threatened. Mowgli is a pretty believable and sympathetic protagonist tbh.

I’m surprised! My favourite (Sleeping Beauty) outdid Cinderella. That barely happens, since Aurora is often put down for being a poor title character. But it is one of two silver age movies I grew up with and love to this day. According to my notes and by the words of Disney, Sleeping Beauty was the first to widescreen. Perhaps he was lying through his teeth to sell Sleeping Beauty. I’d have put Lady and the Tramp (the aforementioned second film) above the Jungle Book. While the latter is better paced and displays good emotion, the reused animation in certain segments really shows and makes the film a bit less likeable. Whereas the blooming relationship shared by Lady and Tramp is probably the most realistic we’d ever see from a Disney film until the Renaissance and films like Pocahontas and Atlantis. But that’s me.

When your personal favorite is Alice in Wonderland, you like the live action Alice and like Alice as a character: Happy to see Sleping Beauty at the 1st place, tho, it's my 2nd favorite and the one I consider objectively the best. In case someone wonders what do I see in Alice: she's very polite and in quite unusual way, she acts like a little lady. She's intelligent and child-minded at the same time, trying to make sense of everything she sees and kinda weird as she says a lot of weird stuff in the movie. And welp, that all combined makes her pretty cute. (sorry for my poor English)

Why was Lady and the Tramp so low?!?That was an excellent movie.I would even go as far as saying it is one of the best over all Disney movies of all time.Lady and the Tramp should be higher on this list and I am mad about it.

My Ranking 8. Sword & The Stone I was bored to death watching this movie as a kid. 7. Lady & The Tramp 6. Jungle Book The 2016 Live Action movie was pretty mediocre to me. 5. Sleeping Beauty I loved the Maleficent live Action remake! 4. Alice In Wonderland 3. Peter Pan I loved the sequel as well. Jane was a great protagonist. Rewatching Peter Pan as an adult the scene with the Native Americans did not sit well with me. 2. 101 Dalmatians This is definitely one of my favorite silver age movies & I adore it as an adult. The 1996 live Action movie with Glenn Close is one of my favorites. Have not seen Cruella yet but looking forward to watching it. 101 Dalmatians 2 Patch’s London Adventure got a a solid B+ From me . 1. Cinderella Has always been one of my favorite silver age movies. I have always loved the music. Regarding the sequels 2002’s Cinderella 2 was underwhelming but oh boy was Cinderella 3 A Twist In Time was amazing. This movie should definitely be made into live action. Prince Charming’s character was much better developed in this movie as he was in the 2015 live action movie. One thing I actually liked about the live action is that the prince & Cinderella meet before the ball.

I love Sleeping Beauty and I never liked Peter Pan. But I feel Peter Pan is a better movie than Sleeping Beauty. Cinderella should be number 1.

Sleeping Beauty has a poor casting choice when it only applies to King Stefan and Queen Leah (they too, along with Aurora, need more development if Hans Conried and Jane Fowler voices them instead of Taylor Holmes and (allegedly) Verna Felton), but Prince Phillip, King Hubert, and the fairies are pretty cool. Phillip does have a purpose and development, compared to the first two Princes, has a specific personality and takes on Maleficent as a dragon to save Aurora and the kingdom. King Hubert is interesting and we can agree that, although he isn’t the main character, he is a necessary character because his sleepy conversation help the fairies realize that the man Aurora met in the woods was Phillip. He is funny, has charm and more developed than Stefan has, same goes for Leah. The Fairies are the ones who help Aurora and later Prince Phillip. Without a doubt, the biggest saving grace in this movie is Maleficent, one of the only good characters in the movie so far, in my opinion.
