This reminds me of the Sopranos episode where they take over a production company that’s trying to get financing for a mobster movie. They take it over and quickly change it to a vampire mobster movie. The writer refuses to change the script so they beat the crap out of him.

Honestly, I really wanted to understand all the "Power of X" and what it actually meant, for it seemed to be of key importance to the entire premise and nobody on screen didn't bother in the slightest explaining that. All I could find was the following article: "Headland also explains the coven’s mantra: “The power of one, the power of two, the power of many. In our show, the Jedi have the power of many. I think their mother started as one, and the girls are two, and she wants her legacy to be the power of many. So it was thought of as paying homage to The Clone Wars, but it eventually became the story of a mom and her children and the way that our parents have particular expectations for us. And if Star Wars is anything, it's got a lot of parents and children and living up to or rejecting the legacy of those parents.” How in the name of all that is holy does this even compute in any sensible way? Did they just thought "Hey, that sounds kewl in a The Sea is Always Right-way for uncritical audience, let's put it in!" or what?

The aspect of this that really sticks out to me is that Anakin was conceived by The Force in retribution for Plagueis and Palpatine attempting to impose their will on it. This coven of witches did the exact same thing but instead of The Force slapping back at them for (g)raping it, it's doing their bidding. Sickening.
