​@@Tsumami__I tell people if you never want to see a child, Virgin is the line for you, but there are enough adult spaces that you don't really have to interact with kids. If someone hates all Disney IP, Disney isn't good for them, but if you like a luxury line with unique themed resteraunts and shows they will be Disney themed and will be a great experience. If you want to drink a lot, Carnival is the way to go with a good drink package and party atmosphere, but if you just want 1 or 2 special drinks (or to just bring your own wine or beer) Disney is a terrific choice. I love Disney. It's the perfect choice for me, but not for everyone.

My favorite ship is the Magic. The larger ones are great, (Fantasy and Dream) but my memories are on the Magic. It’s not too big. Now, this Treasure looks great with those lounges. I like private spaces where you can get away from the chaos, but not really be away. Places to sit and rest, read, watch and experience. The staff and training on DCL is top notch. I am always impressed with the professionalism.

The thing is I really hate the layout of this class of ships…we were on the Wish and never figured it out, and that’s never happened to us on any ship. Also, the venue sizes are completely wrong for the activities that take place in them, and you can’t see the ocean from anywhere. Even in the hallways where there are portholes out to sea they’ve made it so you can’t see anything out of the windows, which is a very bizarre choice. Even on the Royal Caribbean mega ships you see a lot more of the ocean than you do on this class of ships.

Agree about the layout. It is made more complex on the Disney Wish because it is only 3- and 4-night itineraries. The Disney Treasure is doing 7-night itineraries, so... I think you will get more used to it. Regarding the connection to the water - I agree with you. I love cruising because I love the water.

I think there are mixed opinions. At the moment, I think they are what I'd call 'location drinks' -- they are great in THAT space... but probably wouldn't be as great without that amazing ambiance.
