Disney Pixar has been the subject of a recent meme that creates AI posters for movies that definitely wouldn't be allowed in theaters. Disney is taking action behind the scenes to make sure their brand isn't damaged by false information, but how much can they even do? How will Microsoft change their AI models to fit with the needs of corporations?

Technically, parody is absolutely legal, trademarks are tricky, but unlike copyright, you can't block people from mentioning a brand, only from using it in a way that misrepresents the brand or causes confusion. Most people are aware that AI Pixar is a parody, so there is a lot of grey area there that can't be seen as black or white. But one thing is clear, this is not an issue of AI, but of parody, AI is just a tool in the creation of this parody.

I liked the posters, but they should have added "It's only a parody." I could have changed the name to Dizney/Picar and still use it for fair use as parody. Parody is still fair use to make that just doing a copyright.
