Disney Wish Cruise Vlog | Rainy Day for a Castaway Cay 5k

I finally run the Castaway Cay 5k! We then all head to the island despite the rainy day, enjoy lunch at Cookies, and then have our final evening on the ship. The next day, we disembark (debark? debarkation?) and head home.

I had to google because I had never heard debark before so this is what I found. “While debark and disembark are often used interchangeably there is a subtle difference between the two terms. Debark generally refers to the act of unloading goods or cargo, while disembark refers specifically to the act of passengers leaving a ship or other form of transportation. However, in most cases, the two terms are used synonymously.” 🤓

I’ve only ever been on cruises on Princess, but I have never had any complaints about any of the food that I’ve eaten. Impeccable!

Can’t wait for the DCL episode of the podcast! Have to know which ship is your favorite now that you’ve sailed one from each class. :) We are wanting to knock out the Magic before we do the Wish, that way we have done all the classics first. Our first ever cruise was on the Dream and set sailed on Valentine’s Day, the CM’s made it so memorable. ❤️

My favorite part of these Disney vlogs are the eats. Love seeing different foods and your guys opinions. To be honest, never liked Disney as a kid and even now as an adult....just gives me a creepy feeling.....but, I still enjoy the vlogs.

I have loved seeing your Disney cruise vlogs!! My kids, my uncle(more like my dad as he raised me) and I are huge Disney world people and have been thinking of going on a Disney cruise. Your vlogs have been absolutely amazing for us to see all that it has and the different ships. Thank you for sharing all the different things and explains about all that there is with the cruises and Disney world. But I HAVE TO KNOW, which is YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY CRUISE SHIP? What has the best rooms, and restaurants?. We are beach club resort lovers and the only Disney resort we stay at but you’ve slowly made me love riviera resort as well lol. Maybe we’ll have to do a split stay at beach club and riviera and see if we love it in person!!!!!! Since losing my fiancé July 13 2022 my kids and I have been having a really hard time so it’s made me want to bump up our Disney world trip sooner then we originally planned, which we have planned for early march 2023! Love alllll your videos on here and Jessica’s channel. The Mardi gra new ship is bigger than the carnival and my daughter had her freind will be going on it in January. IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE BUT GOES TO PUERTO RICO AND 2 OTHER CARRIBEAN ISLANDS. FOR A WEEK.

I refuse to fly back home the day the cruise ends. It’s way too stressful and tiring. We’re tacking on an extra couple of nights at a hotel and doing Space Center. In a couple of weeks. In the past we’ve done DW or Universal after.

Funny you talk about the room steward issue... on the Wish we had a terrible room steward who actively didn't do work and tried not to provide us our comment cards, knowing we would review her poorly. We ended up complaining to an officer but even his response to the issue seemed inappropriate. It was a huge bummer.
