I had to convince myself to buy one of the long quote pillows. It says 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' on one side, and 'practically perfect in every way' on the other. It wasn't cheap and so inconvenient to get home, but it looks so cute on my bed and I just adore it now

The souvenir I brought back that I was on the fence about, and finally bought - was a mug! I never have bought mugs before because they are expensive and most can't go in the dishwasher. But the starbucks you are here magic kingdom one is dishwasher safe - and every time I use it at home, it really brings me back to the MK and I love that ;) now I want a mug with sparkles on it, maybe the cinderella one? not sure - I'll see when I go back later this year! (though I don't think those are dishwasher safe, so we'll see)

I finally pulled the trigger on getting art from the Art of Disney in Disney Springs. $40 seemed like a lot to me but now that we have some art from there it looks amazing in our house. And we ended up getting to meet the artist and get them signed when we bought our first 2 pieces.

I was not on the fence about it but I just had to buy the Chip mug from B&TB and they were sold out, then a couple of days before the end of my trip I was in a store and turned the corner and there they were- I almost squealed lol. I never regret any Disney purchases because I find that I am more tuned in with what "brings me joy" with Disney than anything else. Thanks for sharing your Disney haul. There is something (not Disney related) that I have been on the fence about and bit the bullet was an Erin Condren Life Planner. I finally caved and bought one(tried to use your code but wouldn't work for me) and I just absolutely love it and use it everyday.

FINALLY bought the Alex and Ani silver lion king hakuna matata bracelet that I've been eyeing for like two previous trips. I don't know why I never bought it considering it's not terribly expensive. But same thing with your blue ears, while I was down in January I panicked and thought what if they stopped selling it so I finally got it and I wear it everyday with my other Alex and ani bracelets or my Disney pandora bracelet :)

My souvenir was a douney and Burk cross body bag from Disneyland! It was the one with the park attractions on it and for two trips I would look at it and was unsure about spending the money! However, on the last trip I got it and I love it!!! It is understated enough for me to use every day, and large enough to fit all of my stuff! For me it sparks joy! Great purchases! I luv Shellie May, she is so cute and I am so happy she finally came to the US. It took me many years before I purchased my first Disney Dooney & Bourke handbag. Spending $300 on a handbag was a big deal back then. I got my first one on Main St., the original Sketch design in 2011 on the 40th birthday of Magic Kingdom. It got easier after that....I got my second, the Balloon design satchel a couple months later when I celebrated my 40th birthday in WDW. Now I have no problems spending that much on a handbag and my collection is 10+ and growing. Thank you Gillian for sharing your haul. :)

I can't think of something that I wanted that I finally ended up getting...but I can think of something that I searched and searched and searched for...and could NEVER find it. When I graduated from high school, the one souvenir I wanted from Disney was a pair of the graduation ears. Not the huge ones, but the normal style, dark blue ears with the mini graduation cap. I searched my whole trip, and finally found a cast member who could 100% guarantee that for the year 2013 they had been discontinued. 2012 and previous they were around and lo and behold, 2014 they were back... :(

last trip I went to Disney world and I got the Elsa Minnie Mouse ears and it had a piece of fabric at the back which resembled her dress it was light blue with sparkles and snowflakes covering my hair. Now I love it so much and happy that I got it.

I'm on the completely same wavelength regarding souvenirs. Each trip I bring home less and less. My last trip to DLR I got the blue Mickey Balloon popcorn bucket and that was it!! My last trip to WDW was the white trash ears for my mama (she loves the 4th of July! haha), the epcot starbucks mug, world showcase tee for comfy pajama shirt, and a post card. that's it!! I used to bring home bags of stuff! I love using Duffy as a pillow! Way more ergonomic than a pillow pet lol! LOVE Shellie May - those lashes tho.

I have a shopping motto to always buy the thing I want if I think I'll be dreaming about it later and regretting that I didn't get it, but for clothes and accessories it's more like would I still buy this if I saw it in a random flea market and will I still want this in 5 years. glad to see this haul xoxo

Great haul video. I am totally with you on limiting purchases to only what "sparks joy" (Yay Marie Kondo!!) - On my trip this past January I only bought 2 things: a Beast plush because they were sold out on my last trip and I LOVE B&tB, and a cool Splash Mountain mug from the CO-OP in Disney Springs. Splash is my favorite attraction and the mug was so unique, I could not pass it up. I will be in Disneyland in May for the first time - do you know if they are carrying Shellie Mae there yet? That is one of the few things on my current wish list. xo

Hey Gillian! Well...Being a mom of 2 I have things I want and really have good intentions on getting. BUT....I always get what the kids want! I sacrifice my goods for them. Even my husband. If he wants something. ..which isn't too bad...I'll sacrifice again. But...we are going again the end of May. I am getting items on MY list for ME!!😄😄😄😄 I love Shelly Mae.... she is on my list. I'm a big Pooh fan and want a Pooh pillow Pet plush...on my list. I love jewelry and purses. So last yrs I did get a Minnie rhinestone ring...I love it!! I really only wear it while we were there and when we go again. I think you had got some type of jewelry at some point? I do try to get shirts and what nots before we go.
