This commercial was animated at Gus Jekel's FilmFair (the same FilmFair that brought you Paddington Bear and Simon and the Land of Chalk Drawings), and George Cannata was one of the animators. Cannata was the head of FilmFair’s animation department at the time.

That's actor, Orson Welles as the V/O. Welles also was the V/O on the Findus commercials that aired on Britain's ITA Television in 1969, they are voiceover recording session outtakes if you can look it up.
