Disney has had a fairly significant presence in Japan for a good while, both through Tokyo Disneyland and as the worldwide distributor of Studio Ghibli films since 1996. La combinación de altos y bajos del sonido durante la canción, produce la piloerección. Tiene que ver con la música y la voz de la cantante, no con la letra. Por eso, sin importar el idioma, se te ponen los pelos de punta :)

You need to look at the FULL VERSIONS of each...based on that: 1. Japanese - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKKbhZ6ffdBqq80 2. Bahasa Nusantara (Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Indonesia) kzbin.info/www/bejne/iorZlZ2XmsybmdU 3. French - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3zWdYJpnrmGnsU The middle ranked ones are the other romance languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc) Swedish, Norwegian and other Scandinavian languages get dibs because Frozen was based in a Scandinavian setting. English gets dibs because it was originally sung in that language. The highly tonal languages like Thai, Mandarin, Cantonese are so-so...the up and down tones may irritate some. The hard-sounding Germanic and maybe Slavic languages are probably on par with the tonal languages. Hindi is not here, but I saw the full version of Hindi and that was a hard sounding version too.

most experts consider bahasa indonesia and bahasa malaysia to be the same language, with some differences, just like british english and american english have differences but are still considered "english".

i am talking about the language here, which is considered the same, NOT the nationality, though ethnically Indos are mostly of malay stock.

Man, that would be tough for the people writing the translations. Not only do they have to make the important words fit to the same places in the music, but also have to try their very best to make the words match the picture, to match the mouth that's singing it. Often going against the normal flow of the language or even making it awkward grammatically. Very impressive.
