I start by making a dinner that I had high hopes for, but ultimately let me down (Jess loved it though), then we head to the Indianapolis Downtown Library, and I begin cleanup on our podcast room!

I love that your excited about the bowl you were using to make bread! I have the very same memories you spoke about your girls having, my mom cooking and baking with certain bowls, so it's definitely a great memory. I'm sorry your dinner was disappointing, but I agree with Jessica the bread is stunning! That was a beautiful library, I could spend some time there very happily. I'll preface this with, I've lived all over the US, literally only a handful of states I've not lived in. That being said, the Indianapolis Library, and the Indianapolis Children's Museum are both the coolest I've ever been to! And wow, the new addition to the library is stunning! We spent *so* much time in both, when I was growing up! I'm back in the PNW now, and I love it, but I really do miss those two wonderful places🤍 Portland Oregon Library is a close second.

Pearl onions are sometimes in the same isle as drink mixers cuz people use them for martinis.

you can use regular onions, or shallots instead of pearl onions in a pinch. Also I've found sometimes you can find pearl onions frozen in the frozen section which can be very convenient. Want to try some Coq au vin it looked delicious though 😋 and your baguettes 👍

Tyler, I don't shop at a store near me called Meijer, but my grocery store near me called Publix has pearl onions in little bags on the end caps in veggie section. Frozen ones usually will work as well. Cheers from central FL!🎉

Julia Child’s recipe is the gold standard. Try that one. She puts a butter/flour bit at the end that make the sauce just that more amazing.

Unfortunately, pearl onions are a seasonal item that you find usually in the fall in the frozen section.🤷‍♀️Jessica is lucky to have a husband who can cook AND bake!!

Can you freeze these and then bake from frozen when you need them. 15 to 18 biscuits is a lot. Thanks for the recipe. I think they will be amazing with soup. I've never had them before.

When it comes to baguettes - if you read Paul Hollywood he says the mix for a baguette dough should be very wet/slack. Maybe your baguette dough recipe is a bit drier? But I'm gluten free, so what would I know!
