BEST TIP EVER TO PARENTS OF LITTLES: Bring lots of snacks like granola bars or orange & apples slices etc in your purse or bag and while waiting in line give your kids snacks. We did that with the 4 grand kids ages 9 months, 3, 5 & 7 yrs old and honestly we did not have one melt down that day!! Most melt downs are from hunger.

I highly encourage your family to go on the Disney Alaska cruise! It was amazing! The cruise ships have kids club so parents have some free time each day. The themed restaurants are a huge hit as well. Excursions are top notch as well! Characters are out most of the day, parties on the deck and even fireworks!

Disney Cruises are AMAZING and expensive, especially Alaska cruises but worth every penny with little kids. Soda's and Juice's are also free on Disney Cruises. At least when we were on ours. We had a family reunion on one. If you do not have kids I do not recommend them.. Just my 2¢.

Born in 1958, growing up in California and of course went to Disneyland quite a bit, and Knotts Berry Farm, so Disneyland was so much fun in the 60’s and early 70’s for me, plus my high school and many more high schools took us there for our senior trip, the park stayed open for us all night or very late I don’t remember, but the seniors had the run of the park, it was great fun. 😊❤🎉

When I was in sixth grade Disneyland opened. I wanted to go so bad and it just didn’t happen and I always wanted to go. In my early 70s my husband and I went to see the tournament of roses parade in California. My husband surprised me with a day at Disneyland, I was so happy and even though it rained the entire time it was still a dream come true.

Great episode. I listened because I love you guys, but I live in OC and have had passes since 2008 (minus the Covid shut down). I would like to suggest to those who would enjoy some KZbin creators that have amazing information to offer: Fresh Baked Disney (David), Provost Park Pass (Chris) and The Magical Millenial (Megan). They are all great and for different reasons. David gives weekly state of affairs for both parks and keeps everyone updated with regards to crowds, construction, etc. Chris has some great tips on how to navigate Lightning Lane Multi Pass, formerly know as Genie+...I mean some GREAT tips on how to "properly" use the pass so that you get the most benefit from it. Megan gives great insight on food, snacks, drinks and new merchandise. I hope this helps people who are looking for a deeper dive on tips. Thank you so much for this episode! So much fun and I hope to run into you out at the parks one day! I have always loved the Roloff family!

I'm a local too with passes since 2011, and sometimes I can't believe the world we live in where middle-age men can quit their full time jobs to.... Vlog about Disneyland! If I ever watch a single video about Disneyland my feed gives just countless content creators trying to make money off Disney content. It's definitely a huge shift since covid/tiktok explosion. I guess it's good for them because how fun! But I can't help but to miss those slow Tuesday evenings of being able to walk on rides!

I haven’t been to Disneyland but we took the boys Disney world when they were 4 and 7. 20 years ago. Things have changed a lot since then. We research a lot before going then and it made the adventure a lot easier.I think 4 was a little to so. My oldest was 7 and he remembers all of it but the son who was 4 doesn’t remember a lot of it. So in my opinion 5 and up is a great age if you are going to take them.

We went to Disney World this past January with our kids ages 6, 4 & 2 at the time. It was probably one of our favorite family vacations we have ever done. My 6 & 4 year old I believe were at the perfect age. They both were in heaven and they behaved so well. Our 2 year old just went with the flow but was terrified of all the characters except Mickey (he kept saying “my Mickey”). My 6 year old cried on the day we left because he didn’t want to leave.

The week after Thanksgiving weekend is the best week to go...Tues, Wed, Thurs after Thanksgiving...no lines to speak of and lots of spots open for the shows at night. Also, if there are rides and attractions you want to see that are in the back of the park go to those first and work your way forward because most people work their way toward the back.

Been going to Disneyland since 1955 in my stroller. I grew up south of Disneyland in Carlsbad then moved to the Las Vegas area when I was 23 got married at 28 and took my 4 kids to Disneyland with Annual Passes. Hotels were very reasonable back in the 80's and 90's. Our kids are married and now with grandkids we are still going. We do go to Knotts Berry Farm and Sea World with a larger group. My youngest grandson first visit was at 10 days old. We are going this week to watch my grandsons and Dad run the 5K race. My wife and I Love Abby's motel thy are close and we walk to the park, saves on parking cost Motel cost $115.00 high cost to $85.00 on lowest season take off the parking fee and you have saved money to spend at the park. We stop by Subway or other sandwich shop and bring our own sodas and water. Go have fun

I go to WDW multiple times a year. Disney was never a relaxing vacay, until we were old folks with no children. I can go free with no expectations and just going off the cuff. But as a family, Tori is very correct, planning is a necessity for families. Expect stress and embrace it. Lol 🤣 And note: again I go to Disney multiple times a year, for over 30 years, and i did not take my child until he was 4. No regrets. He barely even remembers the first time. I also recommend waiting until about four or older. It's very expensive and stressful.

this is so true. there are different ways to do Disney and different people even in the same family do Disney differently. some are just there for the rides, others the parades and entertainment, some just pin trade or are trying to find all the characters or just the food. you definitely need a plan. for us the lightening lanes were a game changer on how we enjoyed the park. more riding less waiting and you have to pay up for that kind of experience but in my opinion very well worth it. you just feel the happiness there and like you said its nostalgic. There are so many fun facts to learn about and so many you tubers can give expert advice on fun things too. I love pagingmrmorrow or lisaland for Disney youtubers. will check out who you said too. Zach you are so easy to listen to. thanks for being a "man of the people"! LOL it rained one time when we went so we ubered from the hotel to Disney, but the other times we walked from our hotel to the toy story lot to get the tram. another thing is be prepared to walk!! and walk some more. do take breaks. my brother is a rope drop to fireworks kind of guy but we all weren't. so do what's best for you to make the experience good and not miserable.

Do a disney cruise! Yes, the initial cost is a lot compared to other lines, but… no casino, so that space is dedicated to great kids programs, themed dining is top notch, entertainment is head and shoulders above others. Character meets everywhere. Every corner of the ship is themed, clean, and well kept. I’ve done 2 disney cruises. Also cruised on Royal carribean, Carnival, Costa, and NCL.
