One time I was in Disneyland with my sisters, and it was raining the entire trip. We had umbrellas, ponchos, and rain boots and stuck it out. Super low wait times for rides, characters, and mobile order. We didn’t want to leave so we rode the DL railroad loop 3-4 times just soaking in the atmosphere. We still talk about how much fun we had in that trip!!

It rained a good 2.5 days of our last Disneyland trip in 2022 and we used that time to get as many rides in as possible (especially the water rides that my husband normally wouldn't do if it wasn't raining). I do recommend shoe covers for rainy days in the park though, dry feet is a game changer. Also nighttime in a Disney park with all the twinkly lights reflecting in the puddles just makes my heart so full and happy.

I am just totally soaking (wet pun, haha) up your Disneyland content! On the contrary, I am a Disneylander who has never been to WDW so I too appreciate your comparisons. I love that you mention that the people in the pool are probably from colder climates - I am Canadian so going down to California in the winter months is a DREAM!!

So glad and happy you were able to visit Disneyland! The weather has been unusually volatile this winter/spring, hot and sunny one week to cold and rainy the next, so I hope you get to come back when the weather's better. When you mentioned coffee, I immediately thought of The Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel which sells Joffrey's coffee and baked goods, but I just found out they're closed for refurbishment. Hope you get to come back and enjoy Disneyland in optimal conditions!

To me Disneyland is fine dining💗, where Disney World is fast food. The cast at Disneyland are all about the guest experience and making magic!

We have truly had great experiences overall and with cast members at both parks, but there really is a certain magic and charm to DLR!

There is Joffreys near San Fran square and plenty of coffee throughout- each hotel has coffee- the parks as well Jolly holiday cafe - Maurice treats - smokejumpers- proms test kitchen - you can also mobile ore your coffee from various places - Smoozies - Starbucks - fiddler cafe - cappachino cart - docking bay 7 - Cafe daisy + the coffee house - Joeffry is at Disneyland hotel you can mobile order it - there’s even more these are just some we know of

I was in Hollywood Studios on your first day in Disney World back in 2019. Do you remember the rain? I ended up getting a 102 degree fever from getting soaked even though I had a poncho (long story). I like the limited crowds, but it’s not very comfortable. Glad you got to go and enjoy the parks for a bit though, even with the rain. Disneyland is my ultimate favorite Disney park!

Oh my gosh - we were there then. The rain was unreal! My husband and I called it Hollywood rain because you only see downpours like that in movies!😁

Hi! Glad you & your family enjoyed Disneyland resort! I’m a local and have a Magic Key pass, so I only go to Disneyland/DCA twice a month for just a few hours each visit with my hubby. When it’s raining, I actually avoid the parks because I don’t like driving in the rain and I just don’t want to get wet or sick. When I go to Disney World, I bring a poncho or a rain jacket and umbrella and tough it out in the rain but I do try to stay indoors if I can. Going to Disney World in a few weeks and we have two After Dark Events planned for EPCOT & Hollywood Studios. I love the Guardians roller coaster at Epcot, so I’m looking forward to riding it again. Looking forward to viewing more of your Disneyland content. It’s fun to see your perspective of visiting Disneyland.

On your next Disneyland trip, if you stay off property off of Harbor Blvd or Katella, there is a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf location (off Katella) near the Springhill Suites and the The Residence Inn. There is also a Walgreens and CVS at the same intersection.

Disneyland and CA Adventure are awesome!! i have two littles as well (5 and 4) and they LOVE both parks, especially Mickey's Toontown, so I hope you got to explore Mickey and Minnie's house and my kids LOVE the little coaster there! plus the Princess Meet and Greet area at Disneyland is super cute. I have been to WDW quite a few times, not yet with my kids, hoping to get them there in the next year or so. Character interactions are much easer at DLR vs WDW... you never know who you are gonna bump into :) glad you're enjoying our side of the Disney Bubble.

I can’t wait to hear about your future Disneyland trips! 😁 Halloween and the holiday times are truly spectacular. Especially how they decorate Cars Land for both holidays! They have different audio tracks for Mater’s & Luigi’s to match the themes too. I’m so elated to hear how much you enjoy Cars Land too!
