Sam, you make DLP look so easy. Today is May 17, 2023 our last day. I can't imagine walking around with your camera and looking so calm. I had a scooter, and so many people just walked in front of me it was very stressful. It was so fun to be there, and your videos helped so much. We stayed at Sequoia Lodge it was lovely. I can't wait to stay here, I was in the Cheyenne 13 years ago on my first visit and now on my long awaited second visit me and my daughter are staying here for a whole week! Expensive? Incredibly. But I dont care 😂

Omg Sam. I’m most happy with 25c/ 80f plus.. That temperature is not good for me. The balcony is a great little bonus. Shame there’s no USB’s. The plugs need turning as well the cables are so squished…. We usually stay at Cheyenne,bit further to walk ( only takes 12-15 minutes at an amble) but we love the theming and breakfasts at the chuck wagon. Do you think that once the Pink Hotel is finally done, Newport Bay will be next to be renovated? 👍🇬🇧

Such a nice view! I don't know if I would use a blacony but it's a nice surprise. I've never stayed in the Newport Bay club but i surely want to try it in the future :) The shop is very cute!

omg i can’t wait to watch this video! my favourite hotel EVER!!!! we stayed recently and were like a 6 minute walk from the reception aha! didn’t mind though, got to see more of this beautiful hotel :)

I loved the Disneyland hotel shop for the smell it was beautiful but I have to say sequoia is up there another one of my favs I still need to tick Newport Bay off the list and stay there another fab vlog sam : )

I am sorry to see this... You got very lucky and I'm happy for you. ❤ I stayed in this hotel in may and chose Compass Club after seeing your review. They gave me a room on the 8th floor but it was right across the elevators! The room looked great, just as you showed in your video. But the noise from the elevators was constant, I guess because the motor to drive them is on the 8th floor. It took me all my courage to complain about it but the hotel was fully booked. If I payed more money I could sleep in a suite 😜... I almost packed my things to check in the hotel near DLP where I stayed the night before (Eklo 👍) but then they offered me an other room, not on Compass Level ( so it was like the room you showed here) but at least it was quiet! No balcony though 😢

The TV usually calls me Mr Read and I’m a Mrs so not sure how that keeps happening! I loved the balcony and view I hope we get a good room as staying at NPB in June

How funny! This was exact room I stayed in over christmas!

However I must say Disney did not upgrade us for free, we had Eurostar booked to leave on Boxing Day which was cancelled due to strikes our only option was to fly back on 27th meaning we had to stay an extra night. We originally had standard room which there were none left & only option was to upgrade to balcony room for all our nights stay which was extra £1300!! They knew we had no choice to book as this was our Christmas plans & my daughters & mum’s birthday Christmas Eve so it was like we just rebook for another time. There were various other things Disney travel let us down with including saying we could not have an Christmas tree in room and when we got there loads of other room had trees put in for them, the list goes on. We did have a really good time but loads of problems. I did put in formal complaint but they basically didn’t care!

On our last stay we had a good view of Tower of Terror from our room and balcony. We could watch the Avengers show at night. We like staying at this hotel - love the breakfast and buffet, and the pool in summer- it is just getting very expensive.

Hi Sam, I would love to stay at this hotel sometime son hopefully. Everytime I visit Disneyland I want to visit this hotel but there’s always something that doesn’t let me visit it so I am really excited to. Last summer we visited Disneyland Paris and we actually bought that big Stitch plush. Thankfully we went by car from Barcelona and we had an extra car seat for him because he really is that big😂

Do all lakeside rooms have a balcony? We will have a superior family room for 5 and don’t think it will have a balcony and wondered if we went lakeside would it. Mind you it will be December so probably wouldn’t use it.

All the disney hotels have ice machines. In Newport Bay one or two on each floor. Each room has an ice bucket, lid and tongs as well.
