Wow, me either! It's amazing how smooth the animatronics are in this new version. I was half convinced that it was a real person sitting in that chair... Perhaps even Johnny Depp himself!

I just recently noticed this line from the Jack at the end: "...villainy, larceny, skullduggery, and persnickety..." Cracked me right up. I tried repeating it to someone who hadn't heard 'persnickety' before. Totally over their head. = P

@linkfan160 I've always liked the moment with the captain on the ship firing the cannons at the fort. It's just so epic. The almost full scale ship, the cannons, the water splashing in the river from the cannons, the scene is awesome. With or without Barbossa

I saw the making of the Jack Sparrow robot (bonus features on the DVD of Dead Man's Chest) With normal daylight you can really see how realistic the robot looks. It's just scary. You look at him and you think "Ow, what's Johnny doing here?" The voice of the robot is Johnny's voice. He recorded his own dialogue.

I never get tired of the well scene at Isla Tesoro, because I really like Carlos' Wife. She's one of my favorite characters that I like today, because I look a little bit like her. I took Spanish in high school and I do a great impression of her. Everyone feels bad for Carlos. 👍🏻 if you agree.

That is truly an impossible question to answer. I like the AA category (Pirates, HM, Carousel of Progress, Spaceship Earth, etc) the best. It is something that Disney mastered and others try to duplicate. - _ RU

I found that when I went on the ride post-change, the Captain of the attacking ship not only had Captain Barbossa voicing it, but it was dressed like Captain Barbossa. But when I went back either later that year or the next, he was the pirate with the long blond hair again. Anybody else notice that?

@BTTFBoyGoes88mph - You can record on most rides. If a ride uses film/video in the store then you wont be able to record. Occasionally some other rides will prohibit recording. Most most will allow it. But remember - no video lighting on just about every ride.

Be glad they didn't alter The Haunted Mansion to suit the 2003 Eddie Murphy film, too. But in comparison to PotC, that film sucked, so it's good that they didn't incorporate anything from it.

Here's a theory. Since the villain in the next POTC film is Blackbeard, I wouldn't be surprised to see him added to the ride in the near future. My guess is that he could be the pirate overseeing the dunking of the mayor.

No, just the video takes 19 minutes. I show each scene completely. While on the boat, you travel through a scene and only see a part of the scene. I edited the video to give you the complete picture. I think the average trip (excluding the dock time loading or unloading) is about 15 minutes. - _ RU

Thanks, she ended up loving it. In fact out of all the rides pirates was all she could talk about it. Off topic, My trip was really bad, every ride I went on stopped midway through the ride. I dont know if they were short staffed on maintenance but it was bad.

Sit closer together, and keep yer ruddy hands inboard. That be the best way to repel boarders.... And mark well me words mateys, Dead Men Tell No Tales.... When you know almost all of the dialogue for the whole ride, you know you've heard it just a few times...

@BigRobBWF The one at the Magic Kingdom is half as long as the Disneyland version; there's only one waterfall, there's no skeleton grotto, and the ending is different. At MK before Jack Sparrow, the pirates had found the treasure room and had tied-and-gagged the guards inside, and the pirates were drunkingly shooting at you.
