The GOOD beignets are at the Mint Julep bar, behind Tiana’s. Those are classic with powdered sugar and amazing!!! Next time be sure to seek them out. I was yelling at the screen, “No, you’re missing the good ones”. lol 😂

Jess, I am tired FOR you after this long day!! After my first Disney World half, I tried going upstairs to eat in Pizza Planet and my legs just decided they were done for the day. I have vivid memories of that staircase. 😂 You should earn a secondary medal for a post-run park day!

Tyler & Jessica I grew up here in So Cal and OG Disneyland was always a wonderful experience as a kid & adult for me. I will never forget the day I saw Jon Favreau and his family on a private tour at Disneyland near the New Orleans area.. to think years later he'd have such an affect on me with Mandalorian (& Baby Grogu).. this video brought back a lot of wonderful memories for me.

I hear the better beignets are in downtown Disney next to the Jazz kitchen. I always go to the mint julep bar in Disneyland but supposedly these are even better.

Hi Jessica, i did the same run on that day as well. I wish i knew you were there. the Run for sure is a 10/10. I had a great time, i would recommend the run as well and would love to do that again.

Oh man I really wanted to eat at Tiana's place when I heard it was opening especially to try a beignet, but seeing other people's videos of them I was so disappointed. I was thinking they be fluffy, airy and covered with powdered sugar just like hers. More like a Donut.

Actually they are not the original beignets. The originals were cream puff batter fried and rolled in regular sugar for about 15 years from the time New Orleans Square was built. About 4”” diameter. It’s in the original place but when they changed I hate those dry things. Loved the originals, they were hollowish and yeasty. Found a great old Disney cook book with the recipe and great art. Most of the Disney cookbooks now are peoples version, not the real recipe.
