Wow. The Lopez's wrote this song for Idina to sing and record ONCE for the movie. Caissie has to sing this same song EIGHT shows a WEEK. That's an insane amount of talent.

I actually have not been a fan of their work until I saw Frozen
@KeepCalmContemplateYourChoices5 жыл бұрын
Well, Idina also did 8 shows a week in Wicked.
@AlexObcass5 жыл бұрын
True. But this version is in a lower key than the original one. AND dont get me wrong, probably she can do it in the original one, but is not a healthy song and she needs to do it 8 times per week, which is insane! But the key here is lower here (which is, for any singer, highly appreciated)

@@nereidofdoom I wish Idina had been able to sing 'Monster' right before the 'Summit Siege' confrontation with Hans et al. The film just does not flesh out Elsa's character enough. 'Monster' makes her darker, but also far more heroic. That, with 'Dangerous to Dream' makes Elsa a complete character, which the film denies her, unlike Anna.

HER PLACEMENT OMG how can one be so talented
@marcosvalenca6 жыл бұрын
Please, what does "placement" mean in your sentence?
@christiandorey33816 жыл бұрын
Marcos Valenca Where she places her sound when she sings.
@marcosvalenca6 жыл бұрын
I'm still lost. Are you talking on how easily she goes from low key sounds to high notes? Or are you talking about vocal potency?
@Thismeekpotato6 жыл бұрын
Marcos Valenca Vocal placement- basically air travels up to the mouth and depending on the mouth shape-vowel shape, tongue position, throat position, soft palate position (the soft spot behind the hard roof of your mouth) that all dictates where the air goes and how its used. Air directed toward the soft palate and hard palate vibrates in a cavity upwards behind the nose. This is called forward placement. Placement can be higher or lower in head or (terribly) in the throat. But forward or also called (mask) placement is a good technique. You feel your top front teeth and nose and inner cheeks they all tingle and you can feel vibrations thats where the air goes to and the voice sits. An example is like peanut butter stuck to the roof of your mouth. In a weird way its kinda like that sensation.
@marcosvalenca6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the explanation, JalenScott. So, I think impersonators, like Christina Bianco, put their sound/ voice/ air/ sound vibration in all of the places you named.

Dear frozen cast and crew, I went to see frozen for my birthday (4/11)and ❄️ it was magical I love the new songs and sang to all songs I love. Last time A musical and show got me this emotional and affect my life was when I saw The lion king, wicked and Lady Gaga monster ball tour. The performance by Cassie Levy of Monster and let it go, empower me and boost my confidence at work also help with my depression and anxiety. I just sing/listen to those songs at work, in car, the shower and the gym, believe it or not those sing are great warm up and workout songs. And I feel free, relief, confidant again thank you. Also I want thank Patti Murin for sharing your story and let me know it’s ok be my corky weird self. And when you are having a bad day just breath and make sure to take care of yourself Jelani Alladin thanks for showing society that any one can play at character no matter your Black, White, Asian, etc. And really think you play amazing Kristoff your so talented and vocals your are so smooth especially when you sing Kristoff lullaby. And favorite line in the show is when you say “I left a lot ice” in what do you know about love, so sexy. Lastly I like give a shout-out to the whole cast and crew, the special effects were amazing. Also What do you know about love was so funny and another one of my favorite new songs and scenes in the show. I love Patti and Jelani as Anna and Kristoff so better than the movie. Also really love how the musical was more for adults and really show more into Elsa character too. But still keep it to message on story of love wins and empowering women. Thank you and I hope I can see the show again this summer ps congrats on the Tonys nominations. Your fan, Cristina from CT Twitter @AMPEACEMONSTER
