Being friends before anything else is sooo important, it’s a good foundation to build on. I was good friends with my husband for several years ( he was someone else’s husband then) but as life goes we both got divorced and met up with each other and before we knew what was happening we were in love, never considered each other romantically but it happened and that was nearly 30 years ago now, Eric sounds lovely and caring and kind, I’m so glad you have his friendship 😘🇬🇧 love the card by the way, may have to try some zigs soon 😘

Ok, imagine me saying this with my southern accent (Georgia) ... "Bless his little heart"! LOL! From what you've told us about him in "story time", he's a keeper so far! What I like best about your relationship is, you were good friends FIRST! To me, this gives a friendship with kind of an honest transparency (is that the right way to say that? LOL) that your relationship will be built off of. My husband and I were both married for many years and were good friends, we were sounding boards, advice givers and surprise planners for each others marriages. Totally JUST FRIENDS and never "went there in any way". We lost touch with each other for a little over a year, change of jobs, blah, blah... but unknowingly it just happened that we both ended up getting divorces! We ran into each other in a store one day and 7 years later, the rest is history! Our marriage was built on a solid foundation of friendship first and I think that's one reason we're as strong as we are together. The 2 of you had that friendship first and I see great things coming from it. I mean, not that I'm there and see for myself, but you are the "happy-giddy" Kelly again that we all love so much! TFS your super cute card and I wish you 2 all the happiness in the world! ❤

Very cute card. I have Zigs and I have not used them in a long time. I need to get them back out. As far as resetting your wipers. 🤯 Who would think it needs reset. Good info to know. Finally, a video with NO Copic markers. I think they are great but don’t have very many. I love the Clean Color Markers, & have the full set. My sister sent them to me for Christmas one year. My favorite color medium is colored pencils, but l like them all. Thanks for sharing. You are so talented. Now l need to pull out my Clean Color markers. You’ve inspired me.❤️❤️❤️👩🏻‍🎨👍🖌🤗

The card is gorgeous! 😍😍 Love how you've created the background and made the scene with the foxes and flowers. The story time is hilarious! I really need something to laugh at this moment. I broke my back when I fell down the stairs. Thank God I am still able to walk! Have to wear a corset and have to rest because I'm in a lot of pain. And at this moment my house is getting renovated.... I'm not even living in my own house, I'm temporarily living in another house. All my craft supplies are stored so there is not much to do for me. Your videos are such a welcome break of my day! Giving me something to laugh about and I'm saving them for inspiration when I'm able to craft again. Eric sounds like a really sweet guy! I have had a rough couple of days, moving my 95 year old mother from a nursing home to a long term maximum care hospital, so really needed to have a Kelly fix! Your card is gorgeous! I've used both the Zigs and the Arteza markers. I find the Artezas are harder to to use for blending with water. I do love my Zigs!

I was gifted some zig markers and I haven't used them much because I couldn't get them to shade. I will have to try what you showed in this video to see if I get better results. Love your stories. We've all been through the battery dying scenario, even if for me it was a long time ago. I remember well the panicked feeling when something went wrong with my car. thanks as always for sharing.

She has a couple of series of books, but my favorites are the Stephanie Plum series. If you haven’t read them, you should, they are terrific and very funny.

Adorable card. As for the car issues, we had a similar problem with our Honda Civic. Dealer said it had something to do with the small batteries. But, like you, the computer reset itself and the 20 error messages we got after the battery died seemed to disappear.

Adorable card! :) Aaaahhhh! Car problems are the worst! :( We had to replace the motor to the wind shield wiper (!) last summer and that was expensive! Luckily the insurance covered a lot of the cost! Phew! :) Eric seems like a great guy and a keeper! Hugs!

Love the card - foxes are so cute! The battery story was hilarious! Hey - foam tape, check out Brutus Monroe. I think theirs is 1/8” and Scotch is 1/16”. I think - I could be wrong. But for sure it’s about half the price. 😀

Well, heck! That’s as cute as can be! I cannot, I will not invest in another coloring medium....I’ll keep repeating it over and over.... I don’t have enough Copic colors to do good shading yet....one thing at a time....right? Right? 😬😳🙄. However if I could be guaranteed my cards would turn out like yours, I’d be all over that! It sounds like watercoloring takes a little more finessing than other techniques. I’m not ready for that...but I could watch it for hours, and I have!

Car batteries are the WORST! I took my car in for an oil change and the mechanic at the dealership tested the battery as a courteousy. As I was leaving the dealership, my check engine light came on. The guy comes out, fiddles under the hood and then it was fine...until the light came back on again. I was super upset because that wasn't an issue before hand! The mechanic tried telling me I had to get some expensive work done as a result of this new issue. Again, I was super upset. Long story short, my Father-in-law replaced my car battery and then everything was completely fine. No check engine light problem anymore. My Father-in-law thinks the mechanic did something wonky with the battery when unhooking and that's what caused issues. Never going going back to that dealership ever again! I'm glad your wipers are now working! No one needs an unnecessary expensive fix!

My question is: I just watched a video that you did with Daniel Smith watercolors and you always say you are cost conscious and I think these are quite costly - so getting to my question: if I want to purchase some Daniel Smith watercolors - where do I start and how many do I need? I started with the primaries. You can mix anything with them. I purchased Aureloin, Quinacridone Rose, and Ultramarine Blue first. Once I knew I liked them I started branching out from there just for convenience, picking up colors I use most. I still only have a handful including the ones i listed above and: Quinacridone Purple, Quinacridone Gold, Phthaol Turquoise, Permanent Brown and Sap Green.
