Answer about benefits of a diuretic: There are several health situations which cause people to retain water such as heart problems, liver problems, kidney problems and diabetes. Oh, and many elderly folks also have problems with edema. Prescribed diuretics come with their own set of problems, such as causing your body to dump potassium and then you have to take potassium to counteract the losses. Soooo...it is nice to be able to get a diuretic effect from foods. BTW, oranges are also a diuretic. On to more pleasant things. Your card is just so fun. It made me want to go into the kitchen and bake something! I love the colors that you used. Every time I watch you color, I learn something new, especially about light and shadows. Two thumbs up on your statements about being kind to retail folks. Retail is hard work. Anything in a service industry is hard work and it is miserable when someone demeans you and you just have to stand there and take it. On the other hand, it is such an ego boost when someone is genuinely kind. It is like a little ray of light that warms your soul.

I love this stamp set. It’s been on my wishlist. I saw that dog video on FB too! It was so funny. I was laughing out loud. Those poor pups. I don’t go out on Black Friday either. That’s our day to decorate the house. It upsets me that all the consumerism has even moved up to Thursday evening now. If we’re not careful Thanksgiving will become just another day. Sorry. The cookies look like Linzer Augen, or Linzer cookies to me. They have two cookie cutters for these: one to cut the outside, one to cut a shape in the top, like a shaped “hole”in the top part of the cookie. The dough has almond flour, and the filling is jam. Like one of your British viewers said, these would be just like a biscuit called jammy dodgers in England! I grew up on these at Christmas time, and they are my all time favorite holiday treat along with krumkakor, which are sort of like Italian pizelle cookies. Good gravy, woman, you made me hungry for cookies now. 😂

Beautiful , love what you did with this card. That teal and red do look great together . I've worked retail before myself. Running back and forth from being on the floor and to the register. I can see why a natural deuretic can be a benefit . I have osteoarthritis in every joint and retain water very easily . And when I swell, it makes me hurt real bad. A natural deuretic helps get that excess water off. I hope you or anyone else never has to experience being in pain everyday. May God bless you💖💖💖

A bit of an unusual scene card for you Kelly (meaning no landscape elements or whatever), but I love how it came out! Mama & I have been doing the Black Friday thing for several years now. We go up to Dallas (TX), which is a couple hours away. Basically, the closest large city to us. Never had much problem with crowds, but we stay away from places where the crowds tend to gather. Since my brother got married & moved up there, we also have lunch with him & my SIL. So a very nice tradition all around. And we do not go shopping on Thanksgiving. I did go to Michael's that night one year, but it was more just to get out of the house (don't remember what was wrong) than to support a business. Anyway, the deals for us (particularly Michael's & JoAnn's) are just too good to pass up, we get to go somewhere else, etc. Like I said, we love that tradition. And yes, we are always kind to people who are working (or even just shopping) in stores! :) Thank you so much for sharing your coloring. I hope you & your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving! :)

1st of all,this card is awesome. Great dimension n design. 2nd.. diuretics are GOOD. it rids the body of EXCESS water. Natural diuretics are great. Water retention is caused by high sodium diets and using a diuretic is great. Hope this cleared that up for u. Lemons are AWESOME for u. My husband eats 3 per day(lemon juice) and hes never or rarely sick. I take 2,000mg of vit c and im rarely sick too. Enjoy ur day!

Loved it, and you are so right about the smiles on a kindergartner are hilarious, my granddaughter is 5 she’ll be 6 in January, her school pictures are a hoot, she’s such a beautiful child (not partial at all lol) but her latest smile for photos is just so funny, and if you try to influence her to smile differently, it gets WORSE, wish I could add a photo in the comments, it’s so funny, and she’s such a pretty little girl, I just crack up every time I see them. If you think having little peanut is great, just wait till you get grandkids, WOWZER, game changer, and when they say “Meemaw, can we make cards together?” Oh yeah, this Meemaw’s heart just melts. Great card, I’m feeling spoiled, 2 cards in one week.

Good morning Kelly, I love to see how you turn a white plain piece of card into a picture/scene, it is fascinating watching it develope before my eyes into this magically picture. You also teach how a composition of a scene comes about as well, which to people that are either new to the art or just get totally confused about where to start, you are a star. Thank you flower for a great video yet again and your antics that you have been up to, it really cheers me up at what you say with a poker straight face, it's just so funny. I got a 7ft Christmas tree a few years ago and then found that my ceiling is only 6ft 6", so have to fold down the top of it every year and there is just ain't no way that a fairy is going to be able to go on top of this thing, hee hee hee. Yes i got called all the stupid idiots of my hubby and each year he will tell me just how stupid was i for getting a tree that was too big for the house, but hey it looks lovely when it's all decorated. Love this card! It so reminds me of sitting in my aunt's house having coffee every morning before I trotted off to work. She was my bestfriend'ss mom and my husband's great aunt and they introduced me to the love of my life. My best friend passed away 3 years after we were married with complications to muscular dystrophy and heart problems. Then 13 years later I lost both my aunt 2 days before I lost my husband. Don't get me wrong, it's a great memory sitting in her kitchen. It is such an enormous comfy setting, a lot to color. But these are my favorites. I love when you have an incredible amount of coloring to do. You're auch a brilliant colorist, I think I could watch you for hours. I'd get pretty wrinkly though. Lol! Love this card and boy did I need to see this today after 5 days walking in Vienna on a non traditional Thanksgiving. I did find some pumpkin bread although not sure where the pumpkin was. It was moist so maybe there! The perks of moving to Germany is traveling although I miss the sales!!! Oh well I have plenty of stamps etc!!!
