Hey Mark always look forward to your videos! I’ve camped off this road and this specific spot many times over the years. It sees a lot of use so there can be some trash at times. This spot is actually kind of hard to get when the weather is really nice, there’s always someone there! Appreciate you cleaning it up as always. I’ve camped at a few of your spots and try to leave them cleaner than I found them. If you head north on 259 from there there’s a few nice campsites overlooking the Mountain Fork river. You’ll see a few dirt roads on the right about a mile before a spot on the map called The Narrows. Happy trails
@DispersedCamperMan2 ай бұрын
Thanks for Watching! and Thanks for the spot on Mountain Fork River. I looked it up and it looks promising. Really nice spot. How's the road going into it. Satellite view looks like it's a decent road. I'll definitely roll out there on my motorcycle and check it out sometime in the near future! Safe Travels!
@rowdyrobbyrider42262 ай бұрын
There’s a couple maybe about 1/2 mile to a mile before The Narrows RV park I’m pretty sure you could get your truck camper into. Road isn’t bad but might be a little tight. I drive a Tacoma so don’t think about that too much. There’s a really nice one right on the river right past the RV park but the road is kinda rough going down. There is a bit of road noise at times but it’s not visible. The ones before the park are further away from the road. Another spot to check out before those sites is Panther Creek Park. It’s right on the river and there’s a few spots to camp. I’m still searching for a good camp right on the Glover. Found a couple decent ones miles down old washed out logging roads.

@fredogden9362 ай бұрын
The monument is not too far from my hometown of Mena, Arkansas. I visited Three Sticks several times as a child and have driven by it many times. I do remember my great aunt and uncle drove us youngsters through there in the late 1960s or early 1970s. I also remember they drove us a little further north on US 259 to the small community of Big Cedar. When Kennedy was running for president in the early 1960s he flew into Big Cedar in a helicopter and made a campaign speech impressing many of the locals. The area is isolated and big time politicians will seldom if ever stop in such places. Although this area was not his typical political base, President Kennedy won the hearts and minds of several generations of Arkies and Okies.

Hello Mark, I love your videos! Will you include any wildlife to be aware of . Bears, snakes, Big foot and so forth. If you can include more shots from your cameras of wildlife that would be great! Thank you for sharing!
@DispersedCamperMan2 ай бұрын
Thanks for Watching! I include all the wildlife I catch on my camera's in my video's. Their aren't to many animals in the forest that come into camp. All the years I've been camping, only seen three snakes, and those were off in the woods or creeks. The only bears in the forest around here are Black Bear. I've only seen one camping and it was a very two second glimpse of it. Black bear are very shy and count yourself lucky if you ever see one. They don't stick around. Big Foot? I'm still waiting to catch him/her on camera. When I do, you'll see me on national news. HEE HEE. Safe Travels and happy camping!

@DispersedCamperMan2 ай бұрын
Thanks 👍I'll be back in that area sometime in the future, really like it there. I don't get warranties. They were offering a 100,000 mile warranty for $7,000. LOL I said no. My F250 I put 200,000 miles on her and I wouldn't have used even near the $7,000 in the first 100,000 miles. Majority problems happen after the 100,000 mile mark. I had no major issues with my F250. I'm expecting the same out of my F350.
