Drove right by there yesterday. All the creeks are overflowing from the rains Monday. If you want a good burger stop by the Blue Bell Cafe just west of there on 298 and say hello to Lori.

I did notice Blue Bell Cafe on my way out, but I think it was closed when I went by. I'll keep it in mind the next time I'm in that area.

I didn't see anybody. Nobody came down the road while I was there. It did dead end several miles down, it probably doesn't get to much traffic.

Beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing. So you ditched your motorcycle hitch carrier and lighter bike for a trailer and bigger bike. I guess due to ride comfort and more storage room. What size is your trailer? Any issues pulling it while dispensed camping? Probably need more room and turning area in your camping spots. Stay safe.
@DispersedCamperMan8 ай бұрын
Yeah, I decided to trade my honda rally and KLR in for the Transalp due to the Transalp being a better touring bike. My honda rally had almost 45,000 miles on it, and my KLR just wasn't doing it for me. I think my trailer is a 10 footer. I've had it for about ten years now, have already replaced the boards in it. I do have to plan better while going down dirt roads so I avoid having to back up long distances. I do love having the extra storage space on my trailer. I am thinking eventually buying another Honda Rally 300 sometime down the road. I liked being able to put it on my motorcycle carrier and just go.
@ryanb51898 ай бұрын
Congrats on the new bike. I’ve heard good things about those Transalps. What made you decide to upgrade/consolidate?
@DispersedCamperMan8 ай бұрын
I had to many motorcycles, and I wasn't really like the KLR as a touring bike. It was big and bulky and didn't care for it to much. My Honda Rally had about 45,000 miles on it, and decided to trade them both in for my Transalp. I'm loving the new bike. A little more power and a whole lot more enjoyable to ride. I am thinking, eventually also getting a Honda Rally 300. I just like being able to carry it on my hitch and leaving the trailer behind sometimes. Who knows.
@ryanb51898 ай бұрын
Wow 45k is a lot of miles to put on a 250. Good to know they last that long. I’ve got 9k on mine and thinking about downsizing to a XR150L to make transport easier on my motorhomes hitch carrier but then I guess I’d be limited to

My first time to live in Washington State after growing up in Texas it was an adjustment. It was 6 weeks before I saw the sun but I adjusted you get rain pants and jacket. The rain is more like daily drizzle. It made hiking a pleasure to see ferns that grow waist high and the moss hanging from the trees. When I wasn't hiking I'd catch a bus and ride into Seattle and explore places like Pikes Place market. Watch the ferry travel across the bay. The PNW is a beautiful place. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6W1hKiOp66DmtUsi=PK8KkuRxG8bxxpNx

That sounds great. Love moss growing from trees and hiking after/during a rain. I hope to one day visit Washington state. One day, I will.

@@DispersedCamperMan if you go during the summer it's usually perfect weather 80s during the day and cools off at night. Lots of Nation forest. The Cascade mountains run north and south cutting Oregon and Washington in half. A dry side and a wet side. Next time you're in Utah it's not much further.
