I've said it before and I'd like to reiterate; there are a million tutorials on high level skin, cloth etc, but you are one of the only ones who really shows us the attention that gets paid to things like the stone and that's why I love you. Bravo!

You won! 10 out of 10 from all judges! From any competition you entered it in! I should have also said last time I appreciate how you show reaching basic level, then going to advanced. I love how you are painting the light and dimension of the figure and it just seems so obvious when you've finished that it's refecting the truth of the sculpt! Great point about bringing each element to an advanced level, such as with the rock base. You made the two textures there read so natural and tied it to the other colors with thin washes. I will refer back to this for reference and inspiration, not for this model but several with similar detail. I love how studying a figure and noticing all the details brings inspiration for where to go. I will say I've seen some illustrations that I didn't care for but when I looked at the actual sculpt I loved it and saw it in a totally different way! Great job Vince!!! Such a treat to see figures come to life!!!

Hi Vince. Another absolutely stunning result! The only disappointment with the video was missing out the intermediate stages of the hair and the headpiece - they both jumped from entering the "ugly phase" to almost done. I guess you have covered these topics in other videos but the jumps in progression were startling. The hair is particularly beautiful - how long did it take?
@VinceVenturella6 ай бұрын
It was just much of that glazing, sorry, next time I will film more (but I did capture it in a previous video dedicated to red hair as you say). That being said, probably 6-8 hours on the hair.

Brother, I'm not happy with this BROM kickstarter. I backed at 149$ then got an email saying if you dont spend a minimum of 199$ you wont recieve anything. IDK what kind of nonsense that is. but i backed out, which sucks. It's the most excited i've ever been out of all the kickstarters i've backed...I can't back a product that has multiple tiers with different things you can purchase just for them to say just add something on like the money wasn't/isn't enough..absolute joke.... but with that out of the way. I've learned so much for you Vince. I wil forever appriciate, learn and enjoy your content. Thank you!
@Tannhauser426 ай бұрын
That's not what the email said. If you want to get all of the free stretch goals, you have to have pledged a minimum of $199. And, yes, some freebies are available to those who have pledged less than $199.
@VinceVenturella6 ай бұрын
I think it's as Tann says, but I appreciate the feedback and glad you enjoyed the video!
@sapphon6 ай бұрын
@@Tannhauser42 Right on. If that's the case I still think it's not cool for them to pull that in the middle of the campaign . stretch goals is like a community achievement. Your punishing the people that put in less then 200$, that's obsurd in my eyes.
@xthemeantime6 ай бұрын
@@sapphon that’s not what’s happening. The email was a clarification that there are two levels of stretch goal freebies (since the beginning). One level is for for all backers and another is for backers who pledge 199 euro or above during the campaign. The latter are very substantial freebies and include several mini busts, art prints, brushes, and paints.
@vincentdaida6 ай бұрын
@@sapphonNope, check update #7 from June 1. That was established right from the start. For €199, you get mini busts, art prints, brushes, and colors, plus all the free stretch goals like postcards and bookmarks. The communication might be awkward at times (non-native speakers), but there's nothing weird with the campaign.
