i got a lg ultrawide monitor i have pc and i connect the hdmi it doesnt work it says no signal than i try my msi monitor with display port it works i might do something in the pc but if i get display port to hdmi cable would work ?

There wouldn't necessarily be any advantages of using the DisplayPort to HDMI cable over a standard HDMI cable. It's more to do with the connection types on the equipment. No... it will be limited to what HDMI is capable of and will not be able to take full advantage of DisplayPort's refresh rates/resolutions/etc

if you have a laptop that only has a hmdi and your monitor have a display port. this a fake cable. you can not convert hmdi to display port.

So i bought one of these high end cables and tried connecting my ps4 to my monitor and Im having trouble getting a connection. Idk why but it keeps giving me a "no dp signal from your device" error.
