I do the raven 9mil black nitrile gloves from NAPA for real nasty jobs, but 99% of the time I go bareback, because I am old. A tip for going bareback, put hand lotion on first, GoJo HandMedic is my go to.

I always wear some kind of disposable gloves. I just like them because they are not bulky like a regular glove. Feels like a extra layer of skin. It's so nice just take them off and not get grease,dirt,etc. on doors,steering wheels,etc. Your instantly clean. I used to have people make fun of me years ago for wearing gloves,but now seems to be more common. Your skin is the largest organ you have. Need to protect it.

Honestly harbor freight are the win, 9 mil with the ec. Very well priced... my top were the venom but due to covid supply issues got crazy
@jimmyaber5920

Agreed. HF 9 mil are tough and can often go a second day. I hav e thrown away too many of the 5 mil because they seem to deteriorate once opened. If you have the box opened for more than 2 weeks they tear when putting them on. I have used other brands of 9 mil but often they have non slip embossed feature and they are way expensive.

Been using nitrile gloves for years - automotive, detailing, painting, plumbing, etc... around the house. Was using the gorilla brand carried by HD until covid. Now using HD's house brand (not as form fitting) and have picked up some more expensive/thicker types when I find them.

I bought a box of the Microflex Supreno SE gloves based on your recommendation and I have to say they are great. I reused one pair on a couple of projects with no tears at all. I took them on and off several times and they are still going strong with no tears. They are worth the price in my opinion. Thanks.

I've got a couple of boxes of Keepkleen gloves. These things are the Chevrolet of gloves. Just unthreading a drain plug and these things blow up like a hand grenade and shred to pieces. Absolute junk! I can honestly say that I have had really good luck with the Diamond Grip gloves. I prefer to work barehanded but will use gloves in really messy situations. In the summer my hands sweat too much with the gloves.

I run some orange ones that are textured and thick that I got from AutoZone one box is 20 bucks. But you can easily clean them off with brake clean and reuse them the thinner ones that rip even putting them on yeah those suck or when they break down in the chemicals and the fingers rip off yeah not worth it.

i RARELY wear gloves unless i’m dealing with brake fluid or coolant lines. once the coolant is drained or fluids mostly gone they come off. work buys the glove works textured orange 8mil thick ones. they’re bad ass gloves, rarely tear unless you snag something sharp. i wear a medium, they’re hell to get on, but they’re tight and don’t snag but once in a blue moon. i just can’t stand my hands being in a glove and i’ve never been scared of getting dirty, especially when it’s my job lmao.

I hope this isn't blasphemy here in church but... ...I am hooked on Harbor Fright 😵9 mil black nitrile. $17.99 for 50. I wear one size smaller so they form-fit my hands. To remove, I slide an air gun up inside and it blows them half way off. They are very strong so I wear them for many uses before they hit the trash.

Well microflex is not the company lower right hand corner and ansell is the company you might have better luck that way. @outlawdiesel5221

That sounds like a turbo oil leak. There’s a line that goes from the front bottom of the turbo to the top back passenger side of the turbo. It can leak at either quick connect fittings. The turbo coolant line is prone to leaks. Sinister diesel has a good upgrade for that. If that’s not it, it’s likely your turbo-engine block gasket. Mine was pretty worn at 310k miles. You may need to take the upper and lower intake off to see all this, which isn’t a small job fyi.

@@outlawdiesel5221 im hoping its something small. It leaks but not enough to leave anything on the ground. Passenger side of the bell housing is completely dry
@outlawdiesel5221

@@Darkwarrior1298 this is very common on the 6.7. It’s not a big issue. Mine leaked like that for probably 100k miles before I got the time to take it apart and fix it. The fact it comes down the driver side tells me it’s the oil line on the turbo, more likely it’s fittings.
@outlawdiesel5221
@outlawdiesel5221 2 жыл бұрын
@@Darkwarrior1298 keep an eye on your oil level. Daily is good, but at least weekly to make sure you don’t ruin your engine but letting it run dry though.
