DISRESPECTED JUDGE PRESERVES RIGHTS OF HOMELESS

Watch Judge Jefferson of Englewood CO at work in this exceptionally difficult hearing that would've resulted in contempt charges if not for this Judge and his patience and understanding.
Jefferson is the only elected municipal judge in the State of Colorado. He is what EDUCATED PEOPLE demand in a judge. He is being disrespected by the majority city council of Englewood, where they've decided to delay his raise at the request of ONE member of city council, Steve Ward. Apparently Steve is not satisfied with....who knows what, about the judge. It appears as though Steve Ward has some jealousy issues with Judge Joe Jefferson and the majority of city council is playing along.

Not sure what this city expects out of this judge...they want him to solve homelessness, provide mental health therapy with ZERO resources and they don't want to pay him. Judge Jefferson is also exceptionally knowledgeable of law and process. His salary is NOT commensurate with other city officials or area municipal judges.
