I’m interested in learning it, but I’m probably still going to do stop motion animation as well. Why only use one tool.? I’ve even heard about Laika studios who is using ai to aid in the animation.

Nice words to describe yet another destroyer of jobs, best advice to give any aspiring artist these days, is to just do something else, as far as possible from the Ai nightmare.

@@AllanMcKay Indeed, some good old manual jobs perhaps. There are no AI plumbers or roofers yet, but I am sure the tech bros are on their path to destroy those jobs as well. Ai has killed art, jobs and really is sucking the soul out of life, it's a scourge.

@@mrgodgarbage I don’t disagree that AI is probably ultimately going to change everything but the genie is out of the bottle. So it’s not like we can prevent AI at this point. So I feel it’s better to be in front of it than behind it. But it’s definitely an exciting and scary time right now. I do feel like life would probably be better without AI but who knows? And it’s definitely not going away. I do think what Wonder dynamics are doing with wonder studio is really exciting, as Nikola said, it’s not about doing everything automatically just removing the repetitive steps that we always have to do so we can focus on the a actual creative part

@@AllanMcKay No doubt that the monster is out there and as a survival strategy it's better to be in front. My opinion is that by making everybody a creative with such simplified tools, nobody will actually be one, the "creative roles" will just lose their value, economically as well, most artists will be even more replaceable as they will become the tools o the Ai and not the other way around. Lighting artists, compositors and animators seem destined to become just guys fixing what the machine has done, in the long term they might not be needed at all, just like it is happening with concept artists. As a 3d sculptor, my days are likely numbered, just waiting for the ultimate text to sculpt tool that will destroy the enitre industry. There is nothing I can do, but I'll do my very best to stay away from people who support or are excited about these developments, I feel I don't even belong to their species and surely I'll never be on their side.
