What is the meaning behind the DMT experience? Are people seeing Elves and Jesters as pure coincidence? Is there some meaning behind this? In this video, I explore a number of ideas involving the DMT experience. I touch on the possible influence of the Anima and Shadow archetype on the DMT experience and look at the possible geography of mind as outlined in the Mandukya Upanishad. We talk about meeting God on DMT, how to recognize the divine and what one can expect.

34:00 what always disturbed me about this painting, is that it is God (within the brain, in the painting's hidden message) that is desperately STRETCHING his arm and fingers to reach the man, but the human is nonchalantly resting his arm and index finger in a bent position, not even attempting to reach God. If he merely stretched his arm or fingers in a straight pose, he could touch God, but he doesnt make the effort... Anyone else notice that before? I've never heard ANYONE talk about that, everyone always just says "this painting represents mans desire to touch the divine, but the endlessly small distance still exists between them", but they never seem to notice that, its GOD that is reaching for the man, its not the man that is reaching for God... Thats really strange to me.

You pointed out something very interesting. It can represent men who are hesitant to reach God and therefore don't extend their arms all the way. Meaning men who don't do the work of reaching God all the way and live their life halfway connecting to God 🤷🏽‍♀️

When I was 17 I was in a room with friends and I was having an extremely intense panic attack, although ive had so many panic attacks I was able to pretend I was calm. Everything inside me thou was on fire, my thoughts were racing, my chest was heavy, my mind was melting with panic of self consciousness, I was unable to speak. Like an orgasm in reverse. I was desperatly trying to get myself out of it and back to normal. Then out of absolutely nowhere a realisation arised, the realisation that arised was that "all thoughts are thoughts about thoughts " immediatly I felt an explosion of tension in my head, my ego vanished everything vanished. I felt like infinite space, my identity was just an illusion along with everything else. All my senses were so vibrant, it lasted about 5 seconds before everything went back to normal. I felt like absolute nothingness and like god everything felt so right. It was immeasurable bliss. I think I was in direct contact with reality. To this day I cant explain it. Ive done loads of physcoactive drugs, nothing comes closs to this experience. I dont tell anyone, but when I think back I feel like laughing and crying with relief Im gonna try dmt someday and maybe ill be able to explore it again.

Definitely try nn-DMT, but after some experience with that, I definitely recommend 5-MEO-DMT. 5-MEO has more of a tendency to put you into "God-mode". Be very careful with that substance though because it can kill you if you take too much. That's why you need the experience. Something interesting about your experience is that Eckhart Tolle was on the verge of suicide when he had his awakening. Maybe these really depressive lows can bring about these nondual experiences.

Not only that, you refuse to blame yourself as if you were forced to abide by some billionaires standards if that’s even a thing. You’re def not there tho and most the people on these comments are not or never will be “there”. I had a similar experience, one of my first times meditating, i convinved myself that i had stopped thinking (as in i announced it to myself in my head), and it actually worked. For three days my attention came out of my ego and fully onto reality or the present moment. It was extatic, felt real happiness, above all feelings, like nothing i ever felt before, and the conviction that everything is as it should be. I was inmersed with everything and i always seemed to be where i was needed. Its like you say, it felt like getting in contact with reality for the first time, away from all suffering. I kinda came down from it when i started to ratiomalize and explain to myself or others what was happening to me, and led me to research everything related to it. Found myself realizing that cultures have talked about this for millenia, but paradoxically, is the need of trying to explain it that led me away from this connection. Im grateful for it. Its beautiful. Life really is a beautiful thing. I hope all of us find our way into reality.

The DMT experience is the most amazing experience you can have as a human being in ordinary reality.. I cannot understand how this can be kept secret. Death of my parents caused me to ask "the right questions" very early somehow."what is death?" became the most essential to me and when i did dmt the first time it was answered ...besides "what is time?" "what am i?" and "why?". .it shows you what you are by pulling off the costume of your ego, which is everything you aren´t: your fear, your anger, your doubts,your miserable childhood, your name, your confession, yout history , your nike sneakers, your house at the beach, etc.. layer by layer..you suddenly realize that this is all just stuff that was somehow "built " around us..an illusion.. whats left is love and light..you cant pull that off, cause that´s what we really are. No words for how worthy this experience is...

@@felixaltrichter6096 Dude,I am sure that you are usually correct, but I have been extremely persistent and touched every base I can, multiple times,while still being as cautious as possible. I would be interested to see how much less(possibly more,but I highly doubt it) accessible it is,in Boston. Which on the surface seems especially crazy,given how many colleges are in the metropolitan area here, and how many of those colleges would figure to have insane chemistry programs. Yet, I have multiple good friends in varying levels of law enforcement (pretty common growing up here. The saying goes,answer 1 question, from 3 options, "Would you rather fight..a - Crime...b - Fire....c -the law"?) and I have been told independently from more than one of them, that the reason judges issue max sentences for psychedelics (and they place more drugs under that umbrella here,per state law) is BECAUSE this is a college area. My one buddy said, basically, the intent is for students to "Pay tuition promptly and learn what the institution tells you to". So, I wish I could express how hard I have tried.

I was at a friends house just nodding off thinking I was about to die kinda freaking out and when I closed my eyes I saw a vast space of universes around me. Have you spoken to a professional? That sounds a tad like *borderline personality disorder,* but don't take my word for it. There is a group therapy for it that really helps you put things in perspective. It's called *Dialectical Behavior Therapy.* Even though I'm not borderline, I have some of the features in my personality and went through it. I really feel it helped me understand myself a litte better. It gave me some useful tools that I think anyone dealing with emotional stressors can use. Of course, you can probably get a PDF workbook and work it out for yourself. Good luck. Blessings.

I'm 1 visit deep into the DMT world. Being of Native American descent, I approached the experience as a journey into the spirit world. I bathed myself in sage smoke, and asked the creator for protection. I smoked a small amount of cannabis mixed with sage prior to taking the journey as well. I mentally prepared for this journey for weeks, and went into it with both my mind and heart open, what will be will be. I retained more than most do from their first experience, remembering different entities, some animal, some humanoid, and one just all encompassing. After the initial come up, and expected ping and slight buzzing sound, one of the first of ones I saw before I broke through, and with my eyes open was a giant woman, beautiful, and made of different colors: pink, blue, green, purple. The opened the now dancing trees that resembled tribal figures like a curtain and climbed through. She was smiling as though excited to see me, and she felt familiar. Then she layed down across the ground letting her hair flow into the pond I was sitting infront of, the sounds became almost like a thumping bass tone mixed with some middle synth tones (no music was playing). Then more I smoked, the more intense the visuals became, at some points looking like woven ropes. The ropes briefly formed 3 grey skulls shrouded in smoke, I remember thinking "I'm not afraid", and they straightened out and became colorful again. Fractals forming over my vision, and the stars much brighter as I looked up at the night sky. More smoke, I was ready to go, I closed my eyes taking one final hit. It felt as though the back of the bench I was sitting on gave way, and then time slowed and I floated up through 'the tunnel'. Once I arrived I was greated by a room of flowing gold and blue geometry, I felt a motherly presence I could not see, like when you know someone is standing behind you. I saw a red wolf figure, that seemed to be standoffish, but I was unwavering, not afraid, just here to explore and experience. The red wolf seemed to acknowledge this and dove into the fractals out of view. The next was a living gold sculpture of either a cougar or jaguar in the style of Mayan or Aztec glyphs, it's eyes were like jewels made of fractals. It seemed to be displaying it's majesty to me, but I got the feeling that it saw me as a peer. Then, it retreated into the void of flowing gold, that's when I experienced ego death. Ego death was like pulling off a hooded mask. The mask being my face, and the hood being my earthly body. I was faced with the final entity, it was transcendent, all encompassing, and I was part of it. I was part of everything, all the flowing colors and shapes and lights was me, is me, is US. The pure bliss of experience without the filters of myself, my ego, the limitations of being human, to be so raw and in the moment, yet not feel vulnerable. It was like the rush of a massive adrenaline dump, but also total peace. The motherly figure came back into perception, but still out of view as though she had been watching over me, protecting me on my journey, I became aware of my body again, and felt like I was slowing falling down a dark tunnel until I was able to open my eyes again, back on earth. I could still see the the giant woman figure, but she had turned pitch black and her whole body had what looked like ash flowing out of it, I felt as though I still walking with spirits, but I was saying goodbye to them. As I continued to come down the visuals faded, eventually returning to this reality.

Prior to my first psychedelic experience, I had about fourteen years of experience as a student of Buddhism. I strongly feel that prepared me for what took place that night and, as a result, I also remember everything I learned. Since that first experience, I find that I retain a clear memory of everything else that I learned until there was nothing else to learn (only what I can be reminded of). During my most recent experience, I encountered Amitabha and he assured me that he hears my prayers and that I will be reborn in his Pure Land, and there is nothing to worry about; I already knew there was nothing to be worried about, but it was still nice to hear it. During my first experience several years ago, I experienced being every sentient being across all universes and I can only compare it to a kind of hierarchy in the way the Taoists say that the One become Two and the Two become the Ten Thousand Things. Meaning that this person I am now is part of a larger 'self' which is spread across multiple simultaneous incarnations. That higher self is also, itself, just part of a larger entity. Up and up it goes until one realizes the totality/unity of all things.

They block it. I had a dream visitation from my Lama, and during this dream, he told he that he was going to show me the answers to questions I had been struggling with. He then told me that I would not be able (as in allowed) to remember all of it when I woke because yes, it was too much for my mind. I remember that when he told me that I promised myself that yes, I WOULD remember. I would be sure of that. When I thought that, he knew it and smile at me and chuckled. He went on to tell me what I needed to know, explained it all, and when I awoke, I struggled hard to remember it all, but I could not. I remembered what I was "allowed" to. ;) so yes, some information is kept from us and for good reason.

@@stefanitaalexandru8132 Hi. ty for responding to my post... a very meaningful thing for me at the time and still. :) The reasons have to do with timing. That is all I really know. At different times and stages of understanding, we are given more information because we can integrate it. Otherwise, it could just confuse us more or it may frighten us. At the correct time, it serves to broaden our perspective and strengthen us. :) so yes. It is about timing. That's all, really.

I have never heard such a precise and well-rounded explanation of my own near death experience. I became an agnostic-atheist following my own church ministers interpretations of it and initial search for answers. However, I couldn't seem to embrace atheism fully and forget the powerful spiritual elements of what I experienced. I majored in philosophy and wrote a poem trying to capture the two weeks that followed what I saw and how my perceptions had changed, I have recently turned it into a song which was released called "Body Lies". I am dealing with these themes a lot in my creative work; it's my private outlet. All that aside, this was a brilliant video, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. @@iii1429 It’s important to differentiate between drugs and teacher plants such as ayahuasca and mushrooms. I among many others will guarantee one will not get addicted to these plants as the journey is too profound and painful. It is hard work, not a recreational trip and one needs to be prepared. I wouldn’t want to delay anyone’s search, but mental stability, maturity and broader life experience with some familiarity with world religions would greatly enrich the experience.

@@normanwitts293 I agree with you completely. The one thing I would add though is that even though teacher plants are not addicting, and very helpful if used correctly, that doesn't mean they can't be abused or be used as a coping mechanism to escape reality. I've unfortunately seen it happen. As you said it is not a recreational experience. It is more of a self reflective experience thats about personal growth and understanding. Intention plays a big role on how these plants can help you better understand yourself and the world we live in. Which is why I think the last point you made about being prepared (i.e. mental stability, maturity, life experience and a general knowledge of different cultures and beliefs) is so important when approaching these plants

This was one of the most interesting videos I’ve ever seen. In 1995 I was reading ‘The Three Pillars of Zen’. I had never tried to meditate before, and half way through the book I put it down and decided to give it a try. I stopped thinking. And then, after 15 or 20 seconds, it felt like my mind rapidly expanded to the farthest reaches of the universe. Everything in the universe made sense to me. It seemed like I had all the answers to the mystery of existence, but later I couldn’t remember the questions. It felt like everything was one thing, and I was that. The sounds of traffic, the walls around me - everything was everything. The closest analogy is an orgasm. Then, I felt the presence of some entities near me. They seemed timeless and familiar, as if I had always known them, and there was great joy in our reunion. It was so overwhelming that I began to laugh, and then the experience faded. The whole thing only lasted about 30 seconds, but I’ll never forget it. And I’ve never been able to reproduce it. I must admit, I’ve never given meditation the commitment it requires, but I’m so thankful for having had that experience.

I have been shown the secret to life multiple times while inhaling DMT. Upon my return I can’t remember the details in most cases. I have found that now when I listen to videos or process any new information that certain details resonate with me. I am convinced that the material that resonates is what I learned during my multiple experiences. The top few things that I came back and started doing were yoga, meditation, and healthy lifestyle. it's unsettling how close so much of this is, and in particular how similar the beginnings of my my most intense LSD experience was with the description of throwing yourself down the stairs around the 43:00 mark in your video. I threw myself down a steep road on a hill. I came to, wet, alone, with a concussion, broken ribs, and blood everywhere. While I was in that mental or spiritual place though, it was like my body was being ground into the pavement so as to rip away the flesh and leave only my spirit. It was and remains one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. Years later I'm still working through it. My spirit was being forcibly entangled with this other entity that was guiding me but also devouring and defiling me (which might have been a friend who I owed money to actually just beating the crap out of me, I've never really been able to find out). It was like it, and I were in a battle of wills. I clung on out of fear, but it clung on out of desperation to dominate (but maybe that's me projecting?), and only when I released control did we both merge and this part of the journey was overcome and stepped past. There was so much beyond that, entities that were themselves the mergings of glowing threads to become ropes of pure white light welcoming me home, comforting me and letting me know of the boundless love we all were, and that even past this stage we will merge and become one one day. This absolutely reminds me of the discussion of becoming entities of light, and communicating through thought and intuition alone, and the movement towards the godhead that is consciousness. There's so much in my experience and other subsequent experiences that have correlations to all of these things, but seem so very strangely unique to the way I've perceived these things. For instance, the feminine and masculine energies are there for me as well, but they're opposite swings of a great pendulous, balanced, multidimensional thread of possibility throughout time connecting to my present moment. Like, I am on one swing, the feminine is the previous swing, and the swing before that was the masculine. But each stroke of this swing radiates possibilities, connections of spirit, and choice in a kind of void like N-dimensional Hilbert space. At each step in the swing that leads up to my current, individual position required the removing of possibilities, the options of being other people, eventualities, and grand spiritual knowledge. For instance, my close friends seem at sometimes to be connected to the same one or two "strokes back" along these connected paths. I see other threads too next to mine, be them other consciousnesses in our own reality, or other of my own consciousnesses in other parallel realities. It's like we're all connected and interwoven not directly back to the source with individual strings, but as a tangled interconnected web that all eventually leads back to the source. These seem to have tinges of nefarious elements to them too though. Like, the masculine part of the swing got there by stealing something from the source, by hiding some kind of lie it's best not to share. Even writing this down now is filling me with a kind of dread I find hard to describe. It almost feels like, I'm living on borrowed time and the root of this stolen time comes from a shared memory that is to be lived out by whomever among the people who know of this hidden truth is not living the best possible life they can, whatever that means to them. It's like I sold my soul in that trip and have been running from it ever since, but the running from it is what drives me to do the most awesome and beautiful things I can think to do. This also manifests as a kind of yin and yang though. As if, there's always this dark and light to all things. I even sense this darkness in the duality of breathing out and in. I'm not sure how much of this is my own issues manifesting in complex reflections back into the spiritual space, and how much is actual insight into reality... I'm currently trying to create a concept album that explores this kind of darkness and light or selfishness and selflessness as it's main theme. Partially for catharsis, partially as a kind of therapy, and partially to create a piece for others who struggle with similar kinds of things to hear and realize they're not alone in feeling so confused, and lost and scared, and isolated. In any case, I feel like what I'm seeing when I'm looking at these crazy experiences, is a kind of larger, multidimensional crystal structure made of causality, that's morphing and rippling around and through me, and every once in a while, under whatever conditions (stress, drug use, meditation) there are times when it's reality is made known to me, like I'm coming to one of the many corners of this crystal as it rotates through symmetries, and those aligning of symmetries manifest as eventualities in reality becoming synchronistic. Good lord I feel like this all might just come off as schizophrenic ramblings, but, thanks for your work, it's really really comforting to know what I'm feeling and experiencing isn't entirely insane. I'd really love to check out more videos and read up on some of the literature you're referencing so as to better contextualize all of this ridiculousness. At the end of it all, I'm absolutely a psychonaut at heart, a questing metaphysician :-D lol so it's always awesome to come across boss cats doing good work :-)

Thank you!! The best spiritually scientific explanation I've heard yet...
@Anthony-nv7gd
@Anthony-nv7gd 5 жыл бұрын
Daniel Martins Spiritually scientific?... 1) Spirituality (noun) “The quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as OPPOSED to MATERIAL or PHYSICAL things.” 2) Science (noun) “The intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the PHYSICAL and natural world through observation and experiment.” 3) Oxymoron (noun) “A figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction.” But hey, at least you got a heart from the ignoramus that posted the video. 👍. I know I’m being an asshole, but it’s intended to be in good fun... Kind of. Consider trying to reflect on the truth that the realm these speakers are trying to articulate on exists as far away from what words are capable of expressing as God himself (itself) does. One of human’s biggest flaws is our willingness to be convinced we can be taught about our own spirituality by listening to the words of others (including explanations of psychedelic experiences). The end result of this fallacious belief is that we are easily distracted, and fail to take advantage of the most sacred opportunity God has blessed each of us with. Luke captures the simplicity of it all quite perfectly when quoting Jesus in Luke 17:21. “The Kingdom of God is within each of us.” Jesus was not speaking figuratively. He could not have used fewer words to sum up the most important truth about our existence, and the literal path to God Consciousness. Everything we see with our eyes, touch with our hands, etc, is an external manifestation of the only thing any person seeking self realization should be focused on... The witness that exists inside of each of us; silently observing, and patiently waiting for the I inside of each of us to wake up. It’s guaranteed in death, but quite achievable in life as well. But it all starts with silence, which by the way is a concept proven by science to be an impossibility, since everything in the physical realm starts from a vibration, but also a concept the true yogi’s of this world are capable of experiencing, and understand well. This is one of the main reasons why we don’t hear them speak about there knowledge. It takes them away from the experience that provides them with their understanding. “For those that understand, no explanation is necessary. For those that do not understand, none will suffice.” Hopefully one day I’ll be both intelligent enough to believe the truth of those words and disciplined enough to act on the belief. In the meantime, I’m practically as blind as the young Dr Evil that posted the video, but not quite. 🤷‍♂️😂😂😂

During my second breakthrough into hyperspace, I flew into a neon multi-colored room with a group of probably 10-12 entities dancing around in a circle with one entity in the middle creating things out of nowhere in his hands. He was moving his hands in and out, as if he was playing an accordion, and telling me to watch what he was making. After 2 or 3 times of telling me to watch (I was wayyyy too distracted to watch anything other than the world i was in), he literally told me to "get the fuck out", and kicked me out of this room while every entity flipped me off...it was very eerie

I was 16, my buddy had some dmt. As he poured it into the oil burner, he said "oops! well here's a triple dose" I proceeded to take the hit. It was kinda harsh and tasted odd. I felt this presence come over me. A feeling of love, unity, and pure cognition coursed though my soul. I begin to see the music playing, and the people in the room with me, while eyes are closed. I see them as colours and patterns as if their fundamental vibrations created visual images in my head. Now seeing without eyes my friend walks in says "you're on dmt!? How do you feel!?" This question opened a door in my trip.. How? Do I? Feel? The words echoed faster and faster until it sounded like a single tone. At that point I broke through to a different place, beings of geometrical lights, all of them beautifully communicate with me through pure cognition. I felt at home here, it was familiar.. I then start to drift farther in.. The beings become more prominent and very distinct. They showed me information I can't put into words. Some of them are paying me no mind, but the ones that are, are. I didn't feel at home here, everything was unfamiliar. The beings here seem to want something from you. So, I go deeper - and deeper. The amount of beings in this realm is almost none existent. A very strange place. You can feel the presence of these beings but they do not show themselves. I can't communicate with them. I see what seems like a portal? Door? Gateway? And infront of it is a being who is coursing with light. This being had the head of a bull, horns of light, a cloak of emptiness, and stopped me from going further. This 'doorman' was the only thing in this realm that spoke English to me. It said "you should not be here yet" and sent me back to my physical self.

I've had my first DMT experience about 2 weeks after first hearing about it and I had no experience in preparing myself for something like that. Iwould agree that it really is like a bungee jump. I had no idea what I was getting myself into and my life has been changing completely since that first experience. But honestly it saved my life in so many ways and I'm glad that I did it. I've had a couple more DMT experiences since that as well and I'm only now kind of learing how to integrate these expereinces and how to prepare my mind. But the expereinces were alway right and helped me get to the point where I am now. My DMT experiences also didn't always include the archetypes that you're describing. I've had some of them but so far I've never talked to any other entity or something like that for example.

Excellent video, fantastic insights! I experienced the divine presence as neither male nor female. It seemed to consist of absolutely everyone and everything. However, I’ve noticed that these experiences have helped me develop my feminine side and strengthen the relationship with my mom and female friends.

great video man, you've got some truly deep insights that I hadn't really considered before. In my DMT experience I had a meeting with what I perceived to be the spirit or essence of Mother Nature. I was in a fantastically beautiful, infinite, ever-changing space filled with hyperdimensional objects that sort of defy description, colorful light-grid tapestries and fractal imagery. This place felt both familiar and alien at the same time, like I had been there before but didn't remember it. The spirit of Mother Nature (or feminine energy) was sort of comforting me and letting me know that everything is as it should be. Quite profound. It changed the way I look at and live my life. It gave me a deeper understanding of myself and existence and how everything is interconnected.

@thetruth902 ..... Your experiences obviously mirrored you own inner fears, bias or racist views. Don't you understand? Your DMT experience was showing this to you as an invitation for you to let go of all your prejudices. It manifested as the ugly things you saw. Strive fo inner peace while you raise your vibration. Your deprogramming from the Matrix needs to begin. We are all spiritual beings have a human experience. You shall overcome. And so it is.

I feel that the reason Christans are so against the use of psychedelic drugs is that the experience of the afterlife is a privilege only the dead should feel. "Then Jesus told him, 'Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.'” - John 20:29

I would caution you not to label all christians that way, in my experience its more about generations of people, experience, education & so forth. Marijuana is perhaps a prime example of this where youll find both religious & non religious people having differing views on it & the same applies to psychedelics. My best friend is a muslim & hes taken LSD while attending the huge Hajj event in Mecca - that alone should tell you how different people can be. Ive taken mushrooms multiple times & went to religious events or sessions at church. Not all agree with it of course but if it somehow helps you then thats great in my view
