I can't. He's overhyped in strength quite a bit. People think he can beat Obito, and that's plainly wrong because Obito is leagues above him. People think he could have beaten Kage Summit Sasuke, no, Sasuke almost killed him AFTER already being tired from his fight with Danzo. Kakashi is meant to be a genius, but no one pays attention to how much he's ragdolled by several characters in the series. Itachi messed him up, Kakuzu messed him up, Pain killed him, Obito almost killed him while not actually intending to kill him.

@@rondakidd5274 Sasuke went up against the Five Kage and didn't go blind until after facing all of them and Kakashi. If he were to fight Kakashi at full strength, 2-3 Susanoo arrows or an Amaterasu would have been the end of it. Also there's no excuse as to how Kakashi lost, he did lose to singular opponents while having backup on his side. Kakuzu was fighting by himself when Hidan left and two times he almost killed Kakashi. Pain was also by himself because Pain is six different bodies, but they're all the same character. Regardless of why Obito is leagues ahead, he's still way stronger than Kakashi. There's no excuse for why Kakashi lost, he DID lose and that says how strong he is and yet people think he's way stronger.

Oh! I can answer this one! Kakashi seems to have developed a learned helplessness or futility complex. Despite the fact that he’s good at everything, the fact that he’s never been able to save his loved ones from death leaves him feeling like no matter how hard he tries, he won’t be good enough to make a difference, so why even try. This means in terms of narrative, he doesn’t feel overpowered because he doesn’t really act like it. As well, his development from being a mean, overconfident brat to a humble, relaxed guy makes him infinitely more interesting. Dramatic change like that in a character, if done well, makes you really appreciate what they went through to get to that change. Also, I think on reason he still has intrigue after everything is discovered is that the protagonists still don’t know. Part of me was always waiting for them to find out even a fraction.

Kakashi has always been my favorite character in the show BUT, one thing still bugs me. This Jonin genius, who's mastered over a thousand Jutsu, thought, hey, Minatos Rasengan would be a good jutsu to copy, but not the Flying Thunder God technique?! He has a Sharingan that literally does the learning for him, is very experienced in producing Jutsu, created his own high level assassination technique, and can see chakra in another's body, but didn't think being able to instantly teleport anywhere marked on the planet wouldn't be useful? There's no excuse. This technique practically made Minato a hokage, and he wasn't part of any special clan that gave him an advantage to learning it. If Kakashi could learn the Rasengan, he could have easily learned the Flying Thunder God.

The reason why kakashi cant learn the flying raijin is because of its steep learning curve and requirements and its a space-time teleportation ninjutsu. You need a negligible amount of chakra to be able to use flying raijin to its fullest potential. Kakashi does not have the required chakra percentage or reserves to perform the said jutsu plus his sharingan drains too much chakra everytime he opens his left eye or using the MS. Although the sharingan can copy jutsus, it has its limitations.

i think kishimoto did kakashi's ability kinda dirty. considering that he's known as kakashi the sharingan and was a prodigy, promoted as jonin so young, entering anbu and shit, it sound cool and kakashi is supposed to be strong but for some reasons i feel like he could have been written as a stronger character where he could take down an akatsuki memeber on his own but he died from pain, and got hospitalized by the whole deidara thing, almost unable to tame kakuzu. the guy could do anything, come on. He was a whole ass former anbu\ speaking of anbu, they sound so strong but really be kinda useless. they act more of a spy then a talented konoichi being scouted into that organization. bc.truthfully, i dont see one useful anbu that contribute anything major

I mean, Itachi was an ANBU and massacred the Uchiha clan, but he had help from Tobi, so we don't know exactly howw many he killed. We know he killed at least 5 families from the Midnight novel: Izumi's, Tekka's, Inabi's, Yashiro's and his own, minus Sasuke, though his parents let him kill them. So he was an ANBU that did something, I guess. And, well, yes he was beaten by Pain, but he was beaten not by the Naraka or Preta Path or any of the weak ones, but by the two strongest ones, Deva and Asura, and it took Deva trapping him in a rock coffin to get him to finally be still enough so he could kill him, so give Kakashi some credit. Kakashi is such a great character since even though he lost all of his friends and family he still can be both a goof ball with him reading Hentai out in the open, his hilarious competitions with Mike Guy, and his weird relationship with Naruto since they look up to each other but can both be total goof balls towards each but also a total serious badass when needing too and unlike all the other main characters he doesn’t let one goal drive every single one of his actions and even till this day he still hangs out with Naruto to the point Boruto refers to him as an uncle and calls him “old man Kakashi” And Kakashi still trains Boruto and hangs out with his friends

Jered Sizemore there's not much to know about the clan other than their healing and life force abilities. Uzumaki clans don't have any particular unique sealing jutsu other than the adamantine chains that was displayed

The Uzumaki clan had an alliance with the hidden leaf Village which is why every joine and chuin jacket have the symbol on the back of the vest. They were eventually wipe out by some group of assassin that were hire by the land of fire Council which led to kunshina going to the leaf. Where her and minato got married. Minato also train with a couple other Uzumaki clan survivors and that where he learn a lot of sealing justu including the Reaper death seal. That's pretty much it. That and they have healing and sensory skills. And a lot of charak and stamina

I love Kakashi, no matter how far the series strayed away from a realistic ninja setting and turned into Dragonball, he always felt like a very grounded character. The series started out with ninja codes, intense tactical training, espionage exercises, feared ninja like zabuza who felt like REAL shinobi. It gave the story a very realistic feel. When it turned into naruto and sasuke powering up to comical levels, them battling against a literal goddess, and enemies and scenarios that just didn't feel like they belonged in a story about ninjas, Kakashi still stayed a realistic and reliable anchor to remind the reader of the world they were in. The story was better with characters like Kakashi, not with Sage of 6 Paths perfect bijuu naruto and rinnegan sasuke or whatever their final forms ended up being. No child of prophecy, no reincarnations of brother deities, no gods, just a really fucking talented shinobi.

No, Sasuke is ony strong because he got power ups from obito and the sage of six paths, Orochimaru wouldn't be as strong because all he'd have is the MS (Obito practically gave Sasuke the EMS so), He wouldn't have the rinnegan, sage of six paths chakra OR the EMS, making him only have the MS, at that point orochimaru would probably get bodied by every other character that's OP (Madara, Naruto, Obito, Hashirama, Kaguya).

FuckKasey you're right if he took his body and the storyline remained the same, but I'm assuming that orichimaru with MS would be way more powerful than he already is, even if right off away he wouldn't be strongest but the story would progress where he would be able to unlock and find all sorts of things and grow differently and most likely stronger with the sharingan than sasuke. He could also eventually unlock rinnegan because it's the natural progression and he would already be starting out with MS

His down to earth personality, I can agree that plays a factor. I think there's also the fact that he *has* fucked up in the past, and still makes mistakes sometimes, but that he owns those mistakes without reservation. He learns from them, tries to use what he's learned to help his stidents grow as well. It's not that he's a perfect person, it's that he's a perfect character. An extremely cool and likable character that's very wise, but his strength and wisdom came at a cost: lots of trauma, and lots of mistakes when he was younger, which makes him *believable*. A Gary-Stu has all these things without flaws or a cost to the things he does have, and worse is often preachy. Kakashi isn't that.
