Dissidia 012: Duodecim - Kain vs. 000 Feral Chaos (Perfect Run)

Kain is about to teach you pathetic mockeries the difference between a crazed fallen god and a REAL MAN.

Ugh...I thought I had him with my EX Burst, but Feral Chaos just barely survived! Oh well...that was an anti-climactic end, lol.
Anyway, this was a very basic setup. No fancy gimmicky equipment or accessory builds, just raw damage and wall rush. Kain's aerial HP attacks can do absurd damage depending on the distance to the wall/floor/ceiling, so my plan was to use EXP to Assist and Assist Charge to set up an extremely powerful Rising Drive/Sky Rave. From the ceiling, a single Sky Rave can do 4-5k damage by itself, which is certainly awesome.
To set up the assist, I went mostly with Kain's wall rushing moves. Since Sky Rave is usually stronger due to my assist pushing the opponent upwards, I can use Celestial Shooter to wall rush my foe up to the ceiling if I want to initiate just a Sky Rave, or I could start with a Rising Drive combo to bring him up and wait for him to attack so I could counter for an Assist Charge. (For those who don't know, you get one full assist bar for free if you interrupt an opponent's brave attack while you yourself are at very low brave.)
Aside from those HP attacks, both Gungnir and Jump are useful here. Gungnir is mostly there to punish Deus Iratus, which never actually got used in this fight. Jump can counter a lot of Feral Chaos's attacks, as you can treat it like a dodge at startup. Vicious (his charging brave move) is particularly easy to read and counter with Jump. If I failed to get an Assist Charge, I usually relied on Jump + EXP to Assist to get me ready for another combo.

The combo that he is using only works with this map since it is so small that he can take advantage of wall stun with his assist. This is a optimal non-cheese way of beating Feral Chaos.

Kain's Aerial HP attacks are awesome because of its high bravery damage when the HP attack still working (some sort like Shantotto's HP attacks) and it ends with Wall Rush.

actually this is not quick battle because the only time that feral chaos has over 100,000+ of HP is in the story mode and you know that it's impossible to change the actions there.

mywlan2 He doesn't need those things. He can maintain pressure in just about every way possible with his air mechanics and his damage on HP attacks is amazing, plus wall rush to add on even more. Plus, Jump is a great counter for almost any attack ever.

I'm not an expert, but here are a few thoughts: Jump can be cancelled with a dodge at the height of your jump after charging it. This is good for getting into the air. That wind blast attack is a good way to build some quick assist. You can do a sick combo with Aeris as an assist. get a full bar, wall rush them, Aeris assist, Rising Drive or whatever it's called, Aeris assist, Sky Rave. You stack on a LOT of damage. Other than this, Kuja is his best assist. Kain was low tier for a while. He's since moved up to mid. So he's not god awful.
