I love how sephiroth doesn't actually die compared to kefka and emperor mateus. He just teleports someplace else.

I like how the other villain's deaths are like life lessons towards either bonds, nihilism or being painted in a tragic light, and this scene is just "ZOMG CLOUD AND HIS GIRLFRIEND IN EPICZ FIGHT, LOLLZ"

Actually, Cloud of Darkness doesn't die either, it just returns from whence it came: The Void. So no, not the only one. One could also argue The Emperor didn't truly die if he pulls the same thing he did in FFII but that would just be speculations.

@@reapersoon8362 This is not kingdom hearts , the logic of darkness doesn’t exist in dissidia story .. you can see at the end of ACC that Sephiroth didn’t die also , and have no blood or getting hurt , he just disappeare

My actual reaction to this the first time I saw it : "What ? That's all ? You're kidding me he just give up and go away like a little bitch ? Common this is Sephiroth and Cloud I want to see Cloud finish him off with an omnislash and Sephiroth fades aways with blood all over his face ? WTF ?" Still the most disappointing defeat/death scene of a villain in Dissidia, no brutal death, no feeling, nothing he just go away just like that.

My headcanon, even if might not fit completely: This version of Sephiroth is the one we fight in the Remake trilogy
